This was a lovely find. The staff are really helpful & friendly. The room was lovely & clean. Bed comfortable. Breakfast is continental style & you just help yourself. Lots of variety. We took the dog & the room we had had a secure balcony/terrace which has very handy. We really enjoyed our stay.

A lovely building and entrance, including a lovely garden and fountain. Very clean and classy, reception staff friendly and helpful. Room was fantastic, so modern and clean with plenty of floor space and storage. Big smart tv, hair dryer, iron and board, free mini toiletries, tea/coffee, full length mirror…couldn’t have asked for more at such a reasonable price for the room! Only thing was the room felt extremely hot when I first checked in (even though radiator was not on). I asked at reception if I could have a fan as windows barely open and a few minutes later it was brought to my room! Restaurant and bar great, breakfast lovely…highly recommend this hotel

We stayed at the Victoria for a family wedding. The staff were so friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make you feel comfortable. The rooms are very comfortable and well maintained. Breakfast was really tasty. There was a choice of cereals and hot food was freshly cooked to order. We also arranged to have a high tea for 17 of us. The lovely lady on reception was so helpful when arranging and nothing was too much trouble. The service was superb and the food excellent. I highly recommend.
