Im Rahmen eines Konzertbesuchs haben wir eine Nacht hier übernachten dürfen. Check Inn lief unkompliziert und schnell. Das Zimmer war sauber und ordentlich, gut gepflegt. Betten waren bequem und im Bad keine Spur vom Vorgänger. Die Lautstärke vom Flur war nur leicht zu hören. Das Frühstück war für den Preis sehr gut, toll angeordnet, reichhaltig und der Service sehr zuvorkommend. Alles in allem eine gute Option. Das Hotel an sich und die Räumlichkeiten sind etwas in die Jahr gekommen tun der Nacht aber keinen Abriss. Zu den Ladestationen im Parkhaus sei noch zu sagen das sie Anmeldung über die App nicht funktioniert hat. Die App erkannte die QR-Codes nicht. Allerdings haben die Ladesäulen einen RFID Leser so das gängige Karten erkannt wurden. Wenn man Glück hat und kein Verbrenner dort parkt könnte man also über Nacht auch sein Auto laden. Leider ist dies nicht klar ausgeschildert.

Das Apartment ist auf jeden Fall seinen Preis wert, ich buchte allerdings weit im voraus, und das im März, also Nebensaison, wo es wirklich sehr günstig war, immerhin hat es Küche und einen großen Balkon Richtung ruhigem Innenhof. Es gibt allerdings keine Rezeption, man erhält eine halbe Stunde vor der Eincheckzeit (15.00 Uhr) per Email Codes und eine Anleitung, die schlicht kompliziert ist. Dann stellte sich raus, dass die Hausnummer nicht stimmte (der Komplex Wallstraße hat mehrere Hauseingänge, in denen sich Limehome-Apartments befinden). Und dann ließ sich der Hauseingang mit den angegebenen Nummern nicht öffnen. Nach Wartezeit erreichte ich Limehome telefonisch, mir wurde gesagt, ich solle die Tür nach dem Piepston ziehen, aber es gab keinen Piepston, offenbar kaputt. Irgendwann gelang es mir, zu öffnen (diese Probleme begleiteten mich vier Tage lang), dann stimmte der Code für die Apartmenttür im 5. Stock nicht. Am Telefon wurde mir schließlich ein neuer Code gegeben, mit dem ich die Tür öffnen konnte. Dann kriegt man den nächsten Code, mit dem die Tür ab diesem Zeitpunkt aufgeht. Geht's noch komplizierter? Ich habe in den Tagen darauf mehrere verzweifelte Gäste am Gang telefonieren gehört, die teils überhaupt nicht in ihr Zimmer kamen. Apartment ist zwar groß, aber unpraktisch eingerichtet. Winziger Sofatisch, sehr wenig Platz im Bad, Mini-Nachttisch und keine TV-Programmübersicht (tatsächlich gab es nur ganz wenige funktionierende Programme). Große Küche mit Kaffeeautomat. Für mich am schlimmsten: Es gibt keine Heizkörper, offenbar gibt es eine Bodenheizung, man kann nur den AC-Schalter auf die höchste Stufe stellen. Das nützt wenig, es war in den vier Tagen winterlich kalt in Dresden, ich habe im Apartment gefroren, vor allem, weil ich wegen des Wettes dort viel Zeit verbringen musste. Lage, wie erwähnt, dafür perfekt, 5 Gehminuten zum Zwinger, also zur Altstadt, zwei Supermärkte im Gebäudekomplex, Cafés (laut, kalt und unfreundlich) in der Nähe. Straßenbahnhaltestelle vor dem Gebäude, nur wenige Minuten Fahrt zum Hauptbahnhof.

We booked for a family of 5 (3 of them kids). We got a family double room with 4 beds. For the little one not bed was there, but he had to sleep in the middle of a king size bed with the bigger ones. As all rooms were full, they could not offer an alternative room. At least we got an additional blanket and pillow. The beds were clean, but the rest of the rooms were badly cleaned. The ground was sticky and we found coffee spots at the door. The bathroom was smelling badly. We had booked a parking lot, but the entrance was only 1,90m tall, so our van could not pass it and we had to park on the street. At least canceling the lot was no problem. The price was fair, but we will not stay there again, because of the bad rooms.

The Townhouse Leipzig was one of our favorite hotels on our recent Germany and Austria vacation. Set in the heart of Leipzig within one of the oldest Rennaissance buildings in the city, the Townhouse is next door to the Bach Museum and steps away from Thomaskirche and the iconic statue of the great composer. Our top-floor room looked directly out on Thomaskirche and the Bach statue. Upon entering the hotel for the first time, we were impressed by the beautiful style and creativity of the unique decor and lighting, the charming furnishings, and the friendliness of the staff. Our spacious suite was spotless, had a kitchenette, comfortable couches, a nice flat-screen television, a large modern bathroom, quality linens and pillows, and a warm, welcoming message from the staff. Above the king bed was a large reproduction of one of Bach's cantata manuscripts. The windows opened up onto a stunning view of Thomaskirche and the surrounding city. The Townhouse Leipzig offers free high-speed Wi-Fi, a laundry service, a fitness area with workout equipment, a sauna, and a library! The restaurant provides excellent buffet breakfasts. We found several excellent restaurants within easy walking distance, including Johann S Restaurant & Bar a few steps from the hotel. The front desk staff were so helpful assisting us throughout our stay, looking up museum times and tram routes and schedules for us. The rest of the staff throughout the hotel and restaurant were friendly, helpful, and very professional. The price was surprisingly affordable, given the location and the quality of hotel, and the surrounding area was quiet at night. We loved being wakened by the Thomaskirche bells in the morning. The one minor inconvenience is the lack of on-site parking—not surprising given the unique location—but they offer a convenient unloading and loading area for luggage, and we found easy parking adjacent to Thomaskirche a two-minute walk from the hotel. I would not hesitate to recommend this excellent boutique hotel to anyone visiting the city center, and if you're in Leipzig on a Bach pilgrimage and need a great place to stay, look no further.

We've been travelling around Germany by train and the Capri by Fraser in Leipzig is a quick walk from the Central station. It is also walking distance from many of the attractions and lots of restaurants and cafes. The room was really good, but just smelt a bit stale like a smoker had been the last resident. The trams run right past the front window, but we weren't disturbed at all by any noise. Finally, we found all the staff we dealt with to be really friendly and helpful and a late check-out request was no problem. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend the hotel.

Wir waren drei Nächte in dieser Unterkunft. Gebucht hatten wir das Zimmer S, also das ”kleinste”. Es war wirklich sehr gross, die Deckenhöhe war imposannt und der kleine aber feine Balkon in den Garten sehr überzeugend. Das ganze Haus ist mit einer Keycard zugänglich. Sogar jedes Stockwerk ist einzeln so gesichert. Die Küchenzeile war sehr praktisch, auch wenn wir jetzt nicht wirklich gekocht haben. Zu Fuss ist man in 10min im Zentrum. Vom Flughafen gibt es eine S-Bahn Direktverbindung in 15min zum Bahnhof Mitte, von da ist man in 5 min zu Fauss im Hotel. Preis/Leistung ist wirklich Top. Das einzige was uns echt gestört hat, waren in einer Nacht völlig rücksichtslose Partygänger, welche um 2h meinten sie müssten im Hinterhofgarten noch eine Privatparty schmeissen (Natürlich waren sie betrunken und natürlich kann das Hotel da ja nicht viel dafür, darum trotzdem 5 Punkte).

Location is great, staff are expremely helpful. We arrived early because our train got in 2 hours early but we were still able to get our apartment. The apartment was beautiful, well thought out and really good quality. Great bed, lovely bathroom. Fully equipped kitchen and a nice inner courtyard. Lockers where you can store your bags if you have a late departure.

Everything was perfekt, I loved the high quality of the apartment… And I talked with the really friendly caretaker of the house, he is a really good guy It was good that there were two toilets and one bath, I enjoyed a good bath in the morning The lokation is also perfekt because you can get everywhere you want in just minutes
