We booked to stay in a fan cottage for 3 nights via the hotel’s own website which had a rate of 900THB per night which seemed better than that on booking engines. First impressions were that it’s a large ‘resort’ right on the beach next to where the speedboat ferries dock and adjacent to Walking Street which is 5 minutes walk away (though we heard no noise from it). There are a range of rooms- cottages with a/c and a block of rooms which also had a/c. There are about a dozen fan only cottages at the rear of the complex. Ours was rustic but clean with intact insect screens and a large bed. The bathroom was half open which was good for drying towels etc. All cottages have a balcony, ours was shaded by trees which kept the room cool though the fan worked well too and we actually slept better than we had in a/c rooms. Only downside to the room was no fridge. It had an old fashioned TV but who watches TV anyway on a Thai island?! Breakfast was included in the price- buffet style with Thai and western dishes. It was nothing special but eatable and enough to put you on until lunch. We liked Ko Lipe and were happy with the room so decided to stay for an extra 2 nights and that’s where we had problems. Again we booked on the hotel website and received a confirmation. We then received an email in broken English which we interpreted as saying the fan bungalows were all full and we would be ‘upgraded’ to an a/c room. We replied that we were already in the room so it would make more sense to upgrade someone else. After getting no response we attempted to clarify the situation with reception. I don’t speak Thai so can’t criticise people for not speaking a foreign language but when dealing with mostly European guests you would expect at least one member of staff to have the basics of English. Unfortunately not. We ended up in a confusion of Google translate messages with a teenage girl who was clearly sick (coughing, sneezing, red eyes and nose) and shouldn’t have been at work. I ended up speaking to ‘a manager’ on the mainland by phone but still couldn’t get any sense from them. Eventually we resorted to replying by email and were eventually told we could stay in the same room. You can go into any tour operator on Walking Street and find staff who speak excellent English. Why the hotel are unable to find staff with foreign language skills is beyond me. My guess is they are employing cheap intern labour from mainland tourism schools which is fine for basic check in and out but they should have at least one person who can communicate with guests if there’s a problem. The majority of rooms seemed empty when we stayed, the exception being the fan rooms which were very good value and always seemed booked out. Maybe the hotel could look at a way of turning off the a/c in some of the bungalows and selling them at a fan room rate? In summary, we were happy with the location of the hotel, the facilities and the room. The stay was spoilt somewhat by a disorgan

끔찍한 리셉션 직원. 우리는 더블룸(확정)을 예약했는데 도착 시 싱글 침대 2개가 있었고 객실 변경이 불가능했습니다. 또한, 방에서 특히 나쁜 냄새가 났습니다(땀 같은). 테라스 문이 제대로 닫히지 않아 모기가 들어옵니다. 호텔을 확장하고 있기 때문에 바로 앞에서 공사가 있었습니다. 밤에는 공사중인 건물에 아시아인들이 노래방을 운영하고 있어서 방에서 모든 소리가 완벽하게 들렸습니다. 이곳에 쉬러 오는 사람들을 생각하면, 늦은 시간까지 공사 소음과 소음이 가장 싫다. 끔찍한 아침 식사와 변화를 위해 건설중인 건물에서. 뷔페에는 향 주머니 커피 만 있기 때문에 입구에 커피 스탠드가 있습니다. 제대로 된 커피를 원한다면 비용을 지불해야 합니다. 과일과 빵은 거의 없고 팟타이 음식, 카레, 밥만 있어요... 우리가 태국에 있다는 것은 이해하지만 그런 종류의 음식에 가깝지 않고 다양성이 있어도 나쁠 것은 없습니다. 달콤한 제품은 물론 슬픈 크루아상도 없습니다. 주스가 놓인 테이블에는 개미가 가득했다는 것은 말할 것도 없습니다. 설상가상으로 우리가 아침을 먹고 있는 동안 두 남자가 캐슈넛과 티셔츠를 사오라고 제안했습니다. 직원(매우 친절했던 직원 몇 명 제외), 시설, 분위기, 아침 식사 때문에 이 호텔을 전혀 추천하지 않습니다. 저희처럼 코리페로 가기 위해 빡바라에서 하루를 보내시더라도 머무는 것이 더 나은 선택이 될 가능성이 높습니다.

Best pad Thai in the island you must try an afternoon in the chairs and enjoy the must beautiful view and amazing beach and delicious food and delicious mango smoothie was really the best we had in all island!! Michelin start 🌟 We will definitely come back here to this little paradise!! 5 stars 🌟 thanks for the amazing service and extremely good time ❤️

Upon arrival at reception, I immediately noticed the sewer and old food smell above the kitchen. -note to self, do not eat here- For the price we paid for a beachfront villa we were handed a plastic card to trade in for a beach towel as if we were at a hostel. Not a very nice beach towel by the way. Over washed and clearly been recycled a few years. The villa (111) was spacious and on the beach. The bathroom is enormous. However, hasn't been cleaned properly in eons. The drain in the shower is open, so don't take your jewelry in with you. Also gives off a powerful aroma of sewage when the shower is going. The villa is walled by glass doors ensuring a great view of the beach and everyone that is planted on the beach and directly next to the villa. The curtains are not blacked out. Very light up at night. The cocktails we ordered from the bar had zero mixers or juice. Tasted more like kerosine than a drink. The Mali resort next door is awesome for cocktails and they let you take it back to the room. Just return the glassware. The bed was not bad - One pillow, really? Do I need another plastic card to trade in? Breakfast- hmm. Caters to Chinese culinary splish splash. Not even Thai options were available. No fresh juice. No musli. No bacon. The meat that is offered is highly mechanically separated and processed. The coffee comes out of a machine, and regardless of the button you choose, it all tastes the same - muddy water. Did I mention the Mali resort? Awesome breakfast options for 250THB. Superb coffee. Overall, we enjoyed the balcony on the beach and the drinks and snacks at the Mali resort. For the price we paid, we'll be back at the Ten Moons Resort.

Beautiful little gem right on the mountain top of Koh Lipe. It has an amazing view from the restaurant and amazing view from room (we booked the one with sea view and did not disappoint!) Unfortunately there are some unused facilities, but I do think that this resort has huge potential could soon be a 5 star!! Staff are kind and helpful, even though sometimes they can’t understand, I guess they deal mostly with Thai tourists but you can understand them easily. Restaurant only serves breakfast (free!) and lunch which is good enough as from 6pm they have free shuttle that takes you to the walking street where you can easily find somewhere to have dinner. Will definitely come back ❤️

Wonderful hostel! The Street Hostel is located on the main walking street, which was excellent for easy access to the beach as well as numerous restaurants. The hostel was very clean, the A/C was strong, and the beds had curtains which provided privacy in our shared dorm. Looking forward to staying at Street again!

실제로는 리조트가 아니고 그냥 보행자 전용 호텔입니다. 보행자 거리의 Black and White 7-11에서 멀지 않으며 Thaidium에서 멀지 않습니다. 호텔 객실이 많지 않고 점유율이 매우 낮습니다. 가족이 운영하는 곳으로, 어머니가 여러 명의 딸을 돌보는 것 같습니다. 수영장은 사람이 적어서 별로 깨끗하지 않아서 거의 이용이 불가능해요. 아침 식사는 집에서 만든 볶음밥, 볶음면, 토스트, 오렌지 주스로 아침에 간단히 드셔도 문제 없습니다. 가격도 엄청 저렴해요 그린보다 훨씬 저렴해요 섬에 산지 반달도 채 안됐는데 여기서 이틀밤 묵고 에어컨만 켜놓고 쉬다가 매일 집에서 지냈어요. 실내는 괜찮은 편이고 2015년인가 2016년에 리모델링을 했는지 5~6년 정도 된 것 같습니다. 태국의 고대 수압은 매우 작습니다. 에어컨이 좀 시끄럽고 냉방이 강력해요 비수기 + 낮은 점유율, 가장 저렴한 수영장 룸에 직접 제공 또한, 전체 문 앞 도로의 툭툭 소리는 차단할 수 없지만, 어두워지면 툭툭이 소리가 들리지 않아 늦게 자도 문제가 되지 않습니다. 메인 스트리트는 들리지 않습니다. 이틀간 누워서 쉬는 용도로만 사용하는데 개인적으로 만족합니다. 이게 그린보다 저렴하지 않았다면 그린을 주문했을 것 같아요. Wi-Fi를 육안으로 검사한 결과 True-H 휴대폰에 설치된 CPE에서 전송되므로 네트워크 속도가 비교적 마술적이고 2.4G만 간섭이 많습니다. 나만의 무제한 데이터 카드가 있습니다. 나 자신을 위한 핫스팟. 집주인과 딸은 매우 친절하지만 저는 집에 머물면서 그들과 별로 교류하지 않았습니다. 예산이 부족하신 분, 일어나자마자 바다로 나가고 싶은 분, 임시 체류하시는 분도 거주하실 수 있습니다. 내 옆방에 있는 가족은 기본적으로 매일 아침 일어나 스노클링을 하러 나가고, 밤에 돌아오는데 매우 적합합니다... 집주인 아주머니가 이곳에 일주일 넘게 머물렀다고 하더군요.

NIce simple place to stay in Satun. Clean rooms and the staff is friendly. Free transport via Tuk Tuk to the nearest coach bus terminal. Nice coffee shops nearby and decent local food. I actually met some English teachers in the Amazon shop located a few meters from the Hotel.

Upon arrival at reception, I immediately noticed the sewer and old food smell above the kitchen. -note to self, do not eat here- For the price we paid for a beachfront villa we were handed a plastic card to trade in for a beach towel as if we were at a hostel. Not a very nice beach towel by the way. Over washed and clearly been recycled a few years. The villa (111) was spacious and on the beach. The bathroom is enormous. However, hasn't been cleaned properly in eons. The drain in the shower is open, so don't take your jewelry in with you. Also gives off a powerful aroma of sewage when the shower is going. The villa is walled by glass doors ensuring a great view of the beach and everyone that is planted on the beach and directly next to the villa. The curtains are not blacked out. Very light up at night. The cocktails we ordered from the bar had zero mixers or juice. Tasted more like kerosine than a drink. The Mali resort next door is awesome for cocktails and they let you take it back to the room. Just return the glassware. The bed was not bad - One pillow, really? Do I need another plastic card to trade in? Breakfast- hmm. Caters to Chinese culinary splish splash. Not even Thai options were available. No fresh juice. No musli. No bacon. The meat that is offered is highly mechanically separated and processed. The coffee comes out of a machine, and regardless of the button you choose, it all tastes the same - muddy water. Did I mention the Mali resort? Awesome breakfast options for 250THB. Superb coffee. Overall, we enjoyed the balcony on the beach and the drinks and snacks at the Mali resort. For the price we paid, we'll be back at the Ten Moons Resort.

Beautiful little gem right on the mountain top of Koh Lipe. It has an amazing view from the restaurant and amazing view from room (we booked the one with sea view and did not disappoint!) Unfortunately there are some unused facilities, but I do think that this resort has huge potential could soon be a 5 star!! Staff are kind and helpful, even though sometimes they can’t understand, I guess they deal mostly with Thai tourists but you can understand them easily. Restaurant only serves breakfast (free!) and lunch which is good enough as from 6pm they have free shuttle that takes you to the walking street where you can easily find somewhere to have dinner. Will definitely come back ❤️

Wonderful hostel! The Street Hostel is located on the main walking street, which was excellent for easy access to the beach as well as numerous restaurants. The hostel was very clean, the A/C was strong, and the beds had curtains which provided privacy in our shared dorm. Looking forward to staying at Street again!

실제로는 리조트가 아니고 그냥 보행자 전용 호텔입니다. 보행자 거리의 Black and White 7-11에서 멀지 않으며 Thaidium에서 멀지 않습니다. 호텔 객실이 많지 않고 점유율이 매우 낮습니다. 가족이 운영하는 곳으로, 어머니가 여러 명의 딸을 돌보는 것 같습니다. 수영장은 사람이 적어서 별로 깨끗하지 않아서 거의 이용이 불가능해요. 아침 식사는 집에서 만든 볶음밥, 볶음면, 토스트, 오렌지 주스로 아침에 간단히 드셔도 문제 없습니다. 가격도 엄청 저렴해요 그린보다 훨씬 저렴해요 섬에 산지 반달도 채 안됐는데 여기서 이틀밤 묵고 에어컨만 켜놓고 쉬다가 매일 집에서 지냈어요. 실내는 괜찮은 편이고 2015년인가 2016년에 리모델링을 했는지 5~6년 정도 된 것 같습니다. 태국의 고대 수압은 매우 작습니다. 에어컨이 좀 시끄럽고 냉방이 강력해요 비수기 + 낮은 점유율, 가장 저렴한 수영장 룸에 직접 제공 또한, 전체 문 앞 도로의 툭툭 소리는 차단할 수 없지만, 어두워지면 툭툭이 소리가 들리지 않아 늦게 자도 문제가 되지 않습니다. 메인 스트리트는 들리지 않습니다. 이틀간 누워서 쉬는 용도로만 사용하는데 개인적으로 만족합니다. 이게 그린보다 저렴하지 않았다면 그린을 주문했을 것 같아요. Overall was nice. Came in late so just a place to sleep. The beach is not for swimming as mostly big boulders. But the pool is super warm and super nice with lots of outside seating in the shade or in the sun. The room was huge and comfortable but the curtains didn't block the light enough for me as I'm use to blackout curtains and some noise from the street and hallways. The breakfast was gigantic buffet and very good. Even for western taste. Lots of fruit options and cereals, eggs, toast. Plus local food. Parking was good.

Stayed at this hotel for a night on the way back from Koh Lipe. Nicely set on a hill at the end of long beach. Choice of sea or mountain views. Excellent breakfast with variety of local and western options. Service also excellent. The hotel let me park my car in the small car park for 3 nights when I went to Koh Lipe and sent me to the pier in the hotel shuttle as a taxi was not available. There were lots of stairs - but hotel has installed lifts for the different blocks.
