객실 타입 클럽 씨뷰였는데 13층 라운지에서 간단한 아침도 무료 제공했어요. 3일 숙박하면서 주변 돌아다니고 하는데 문제는 없었습니다~ 위쪽에 있다보니 조금 더 밑쪽에 가운데쪽 숙소 잡을 껄 그랬네요 ㅎㅎ 그래도 서비스 좋았고 객실은 오래됐지만 괜찮았어요~ 대부분 시장이나 마사지, 쇼핑몰은 걸어서 천천히 다녔네요~

우리 가족은 방금 Lankah Syabas 해변 리조트에서 멋진 숙박을했습니다. 호주 남자와 그의 말레이 아내가 운영합니다. KK 남쪽 해변 옆에 위치한이 리조트에는 2 개의 수영장이 있습니다. 우리는 업그레이드되었으므로 팬으로 덮인 야외 좌석 공간과 일광욕 라운지가있는 바다를 마주보고있는 빌라가있었습니다. 방에는 ... 차와 커피 시설, 냉장고, TV, 온수 샤워 시설이 필요한 모든 것이있었습니다. 우리가 어린 자녀를 가지고 있기 때문에 퀸과 싱글 침대는 편리했습니다. 아침 식사는 훌륭했습니다. 신선한 강한 커피를위한 커피 머신. 소시지! 뜨거운 음식. 주스, 과일 s, 토스트 ... 보통. 소시지가 자리에있었습니다! 우리는 매일 밤 사바에게 조금 비싼 리조트에서 저녁을 먹었습니다. 리조트를 기대하십시오. 어린이 식사는 합리적이었습니다. 말해야 할 것은 음식이 매우 좋았다는 것입니다. 대안은 주요 도로를 따라 도보로 5 분 거리에있는 D'Soka입니다. 그들은 훌륭한 현지 음식을 제공합니다. 코코넛 쉐이크를 충분히 얻을 수 없었습니다! 수영장은 잘 유지되고 돌 보았습니다. 우리 4 일 동안 수영장 남자를 두 번 보았습니다. 직원들은 우리의 체류 기간 동안 정말 좋았습니다. 우리는 둘째 날에 방을 청소하지 않기로 결정했지만 우리가 표지판을 꺼내는 세 번째 날에 그것을 끝내지 않았습니다. 큰 문제는 아니며 물과 신선한 수건이 우리 방으로 배달되었습니다. 모두 훌륭한 숙박입니다. 며칠 동안 추천하지만 호텔 주변에는 많은 것이 없으므로 1 주일 이상 머무르는 것이 개인적으로 권장되지 않습니다. 우리는 1 주일 이상 연중으로 돌아 오는 사람들을 만났지만. 숙박을 위해 다시 올 것이다. 사정이 있어, 여자친구 혼자만 여행을 하게 되어 호텔을 대신 예약해주었습니다. 여자친구가 최악을 경험을 했다고 합니다. 우선, Front Desk 분들 재교육이 필요해 보입니다. dm88.shop통해서 숙박비랑 Tourist tax이미 포함해서 결제했다고 여러번 말했지만 자기들이 전화로 어디서 확인했는지는 모르겠지만, 너 안냈다 10링깃 얼마 안하니 거지도 아닌데 내라는 식으로 비꼬면서 이야기했다고 합니다. 결국 영어로 된 Invoice 보여주니까 뭐 다른말도 안하고 알겠다고 하네요. 자기들 내부적으로도 납부 확인이 안되는걸 영문 invoice보여줘서 안 받을 거면 적어도 비꼬면서 말한 부분에 대해서는 사과가 해야하는거 아닌가요? 추가로 레이크체크아웃 요청해서 수영을 하고 왔지만, 방 키 연장해달라는 말을 안해서 방키 시간이 expired 되서 다시 방을 못들어갔었다고 합니다. 레이트체크아웃이면 알아서 자동으로 연장해주거나 내부 policy가 방키 연장여부에 대해 확인이 필요한거면 미리 물어봐야하는거 아닌가요? 결국 여자친구가 내려가서 따지니 너가 말 안했잖아? 라는 진짜 말도 안되는 말로 미안하다는 말도 없이 연장해줬다는데 이게 4성급 이상의 호텔인지 의문이 가네요. 차라리 이 돈 주고 최악의 서비스 경험을 할 바에는 돈 좀 더 나고 샹그리라로 가는게 더 낫습니다.

왜 한국인들에게 인기인지 바로 알 수 있었어요 ! 깨끗, 쾌적에 조식도 맛있고 수영장도 다양하니 넓어서 숙소에서만 ~~ 즐기면서 있을 수 있는 시설이 많아서 좋았어요 !! 전날 다른 곳에서 1박하고 샹그릴라 2박했는데 남자친구랑 여기가 훨 좋다 !! 하고 만족했습니당

깨끗하고 잘 관리된 호텔. 해외 관광객들로 가득 차 있어서 체크인할 때 큰 단체 관광객들 때문에 붕 떴다. 소음도 시끄럽고 방을 기다리는 동안 앉을 곳도 없었다. 다행히 옆집에 스타벅스가 있어서 탈출할 수 있었습니다. 체크인 시 체크아웃 시간을 피하도록 부드럽게 조언해 주세요. 😁😄 그동안 전문적인 서비스를 제공해준 리셉션 카운터의 Noveera에게 감사드립니다.

신혼여행으로 왔어요. 탄중아루, 라사리아 샹그릴라 두 곳 모두 숙박했는데요. 탄중아루는 조금 시내와 가깝고 번잡한 느낌이 있다고 하면 라사리아는 정말 평화롭고 조용한 느낌에 가깝습니다. 라사리아에서 코뿔새도 볼 수 있었고 다양한 체험들이 준비되어 있어서 정말 좋았어요. 나중에 아이와 함께 오고 싶은 곳이에요! 아침 일찍 일출을 보는 산행 체험이 정말 좋았습니다.

Great resort. We stayed at ocean villa 30 for two nights. Well maintained and special place. The staff are truely amazing. A special thanks to Karl the resort manager for listining to our feedback and returning some good karma. Also many thanks to the restaurant chef for the best food we had so far in Malaysia. Some small improvements: - airconditioning is a bit too loud even in sleep mode to keep on during the night - during and after a tropical rainshower the plumbing could not take it anymore, we accept that, but not the smell it gave inside the room. The positive: - free water sports, kayak, subs - kayak to the mangrove, do it yourself - breakfast at your own jetty - very good food, best value for money - sevice orientated staff all around taking very good care of you - daily plastic cleanup from the resort. Remember it is not their waste. They do anything to minimise the plastic footprint, even providing your own drink bottles - very clean rooms, great beds, amazing bathroom - only a short boat trip from KK away Terima Kasih Echoresorts :)

We enjoyed our time at Bungaraya very much. After being in the jungle for 7 days, it was a very welcome bit of luxury and relaxation. We transferred across to Gaya Island whilst the sunset which was very special. It only took about 20 minutes. To disembark the boat, you have to literally climb over the seats to access the jetty which is not ideal. This could be very tricky for anyone with mobility issues. We were met by the manager Karl at the jetty, who gave us a welcome drink and a short tour of the resort by buggy before showing us to our room. Karl was a very attentive manger. He was always about chatting to guests and checking they were enjoying their stay. The grounds are beautiful, with 30 different varieties of Hibiscus. The resort was built with minimal impact on the jungle, with structures being placed between the trees, rather than cutting them down. There are 48 detached villas here but you wouldn’t know it from the water. This means the buildings are quite hidden from the beach, so there are no sea views as such unless you have a pool villa which are low level and in front of the beach. However, these were not very private. The rooms higher up the hill are much more hidden behind the tree canopy. There are very steep hills up to some rooms but there are plenty of buggys to get a lift. There was lots of wildlife around resort. We saw Monitor Lizards, Macaques, Hornbills, lots of butterflies, Geckos, Wild Boar, and Snakes. There were sand flies about at times but they did not bother us too much. It is extremely quiet here. Most days we had the pool area to ourselves. We only saw a handful of other guests throughout the day and at meal times. ROOM Very spacious with a nice large balcony area which had a lounge area and table and chairs. We enjoyed sitting out first thing in the morning with a coffee watching the Hornbills. The bed was large and very comfortable. The air conditioning worked very well. Showers were hot and there were plenty of good sized towels. Toiletries and a small insect repellent was provided. There is no WiFi in the rooms but we were in villa 17 which could pick up the WiFi from the Pantai Grill restaurant. They do offer room service for a 25RM charge but there is no literature in the room advertising this. The menu is on the Echo Resorts app but we were not aware of the app until we went to book Spa treatments. With no WiFi in most rooms I’m not sure how this service would work? RESTAURANTS The Long House Restaurant was closed for refurbishment when we were there unfortunately. We ate at the pool on the first day but service was extremely slow as all the food and most drinks were being brought up by buggy from the Pantai Grill. If we’d have known, we would have just walked to Pantai. The Pantai Grill restaurant was excellent. Very extensive menu, almost too much choice! We enjoyed every meal here. We spent 3 nights at Gaya Island Resort and had a great time, I thought I would write a review because there are a few things worth considering before you go. Firstly, the place itself is amazing, the staff are super friendly and caring - probably the most professional I have ever experienced in my many years of travelling. So all in all it was a wonderful stay. The things worth noting are as follows: 1. The sunbeds, I think may have mentioned it and it's worth mentioning again - there are nowhere near enough. When you pay and arm and a leg to stay at a beautiful resort it is annoying that they haven't found a way to add more sunbeds. People get there early, throw on their towels and stay or disappear and the seat is gone for the day. This is a solvable issue and the resort should so something about it. 2. Check in is after 3 - could be later - and it's not flexible, so if you are arriving earlier be prepared to sit around waiting for your room. It would be nice if they could flex a little as waiting hours for a room without your bags is not a joy, but it is what it is. 3. Eating - you are on the resort, so you are eating in one of their restaurants - no other options available. There are a few restaurants so not really a problem (we did the hot pot restaurant and it was great), but good to be aware. By far the most expensive places we ate in Malaysia, but I guess given the quality of the resort it wasn't a surprise and the main restaurant is reasonable enough. 4. Activities - my wife and daughter did the cooking class and loved it, we did the night walk - which was fun and me and my son did the coral garden. The Coral garden was fun and I was lucky to see a big old shark. However there is a large amount of plastic floating on the surface of the water that is quite concerning and makes the whole place not feel so clean. The corals and fish look healthy so may be fine, but be prepared to swim through bottles and crisp bags to see the fish. The local resorts and local authorities should really work together to resolve and you pay the tourist tax, so not sure where that's going, but not to plastic clearance by the look of it. Hope that's helpful. all in all, it's a beautiful place to stay, could just do with a tweak here and there to make it even better
