I had a poolside room and like fresh air so could hear the cars/trucks as they passed on the highway and the conversations of the man next door through my open sliding door. It didn’t keep me awake nor would it deter me from staying here again. If you are concerned about this, ask for a room on the other side of the complex. The air conditioner is an older model so added to the noise. Regardless I had a very deep sleep in my super comfy bed and enjoyed a high pressured shower. It was a fastidiously clean, spacious room, had the pool conveniently outside your door and the river just over the road. It was well stocked with plates and microwave and even had some dishwashing liquid. Gol Gol bakery is the place to grab some breakfast! They also sell some local oils etc. This place is well priced and well positioned to enjoy a few days in the area. Trentham estate is not far away, the sunflower field in Monak a little further (?January only), Orange world around the corner on the road to Wentworth, Mildura just 10minutes over the bridge.
