Amazing value in this fresh (if basic) hostel. No TV in the room was a plus because it meant I ”had to” spend time in the lively bar ;D The delightful receptionist and barkeeper Ivy was run off her feet but was always ready with an awesome Czech beer and a smile. I hope I'll be back!

Very pleasant, clean and well-equipped hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is rich, buffet style. Fantastic location, at walking distance to the train station and in the middle of city historical part.

The room was fine -- pretty clean and comfortable -- though note that there is no fridge and no coffee/tea. Also, be aware that the (paid) parking garage only has 14 spots but there are 75 rooms, so you have to reserve in advance if you want to park there, something that was not clear to us, despite reading about the property -- so the garage was full when we arrived and we had to drive around looking for street parking in the rain (and there was very little to be had). But the breakfast was good and the staff was friendly.

Ich fahre seit 50 Jahren nach Budweis, dort leben meine Verwandten. Was ich diesmal erlebt habe, hätte ich mir nie vorstellen können. Das Hotel ist ein Reinfall, im Treppen Haus stinkt es wie im Schlachthof, die Einrichtung katastrophal, Bad dreckig, TV wenn überhaupt dann nur tschechisch. Nachdem ich gefragt habe, ob ausländische Gäste nicht Mal die Nachrichten sehen möchten, wurde mir gesagt, dass sie lieber trinken gehen 🫢😳. In der Rezeption eine ” Dame” die meint, sie muß die Gäste ” anschnauzen”, wenn sie mit Beschwerden ankommen. Parkplatz in einem Parkhaus weit weg vom Hotel, man bekommt im Hotel ein ganz kleines Zettelchen mit einem QR Code, damit soll die Schranke aufgehen bei Ein- und Ausfahrt. Das klappte nicht immer, ständig Probleme und Niemand zur Hilfe. Bei Kleiderschrank brauchte ich (1,60 cm groß) einen wackligen Stuhl, damit ich an die Kleidung komme. Im Bad keine Handtücher, nein, die sind als Schwan drapiert im ersten Stock auf dem Bett. Den Besitzer habe ich dreimal kontaktiert ( Telefon, SMS, E-Mail), bis heute keine Antwort. Hiermit rate ich jedem, es gibt genügend gute Möglichkeiten in Budweis zu übernachten, spart euch diesen Reinfall. Vor fünf Jahren waren wir schon Mal dort, es war nicht so schlimm wie jetzt, nach der ” Renovierung” ?!?!

깨끗한 홈스테이, 주방용품, 냄비, 프라이팬, 숟가락이 모두 준비되어 있습니다. 숙박은 매우 편안합니다. 집주인은 수하물을 도와주는 데 매우 열성적입니다. 방이 엘리베이터 없는 4층이라 나머지는 다 좋습니다.
