|도심까지 거리: 9kmThis hotel is impeccable and the NICEST that I have ever stayed at! Very clean and the amenities of the room are also impeccable! I was on the 14th floor and even though the elevator took a bit to get up or down, (only drawback), I did take the stairs once but only to the 6th floor! Then I took the elevator the rest of the way up! This really was an incredible experience, all positive! Stay here, you won't be sorry!

|도심까지 거리: 1.12kmIf you are looking for luxury or modest luxury this is not it. It's a courtyard. The best thing about this property is the location & views. The housekeeping is fair. I know it's a challenge with the sand but the clealiness of our room was poor. There was a man's belt hanging in the closet when we got into our room so that tells us the housekeeper never looked in the closet once the guest before us checked out & they readied the room for the next guests. They missed the dusting & I brought them back to show them. The shower curtain is flimsy & water gets all over the bathroom floor. The towels are hard & scratchy from being so old. The elevators are really hot inside. The furnishings are old & shipped. The cloth chair fabric is old & worn out. The beds are horrible. Old linens, the springs in the mattress is a wreck on your back & the pillows too flimsy. The balcony is dirty & the 2 chairs on the balcony was rusty. Marriott Corp. should be ashamed to list this as a Marriott property. This was our last stay at this property unless a full renovation takes place.

|도심까지 거리: 0.3kmThis is a no frills, no thrills motel. Right in the heart of downtown ocean city , 2 minute walk across the street to the boardwalk. Our motel room was clean, bed bug protectors on mattresses, fresh coat of paint on the walls in the room. Paint on exterior doors was chipping significantly. Microwave was not cleaned thoroughly & old. Refrigerator was clean inside. There is a night stand in the middle of the 2 beds, but no lamp . Accessibility to outlets in the room we had was limited to 2 outlets. Bathroom is dated, old tile , wind open window, no exhaust fan. Water pressure was good In the sink. But no sink strainer , so if you dropped something over the sink that is small enough to go down the drain (then you can just say “bye”) because the drain was wide opened. Shower was interesting. If anyone has leg issues stepping up, then they’d never make it in this shower because it is not handicap accessible. You have to setup to get in the shower and then the shower sort of slopes inwards. Water pressure was fine, it was the fluctuation of water temperature that STUNK. It was either TOO hot or TOO cold. Absolutely NO IN BETWEEN!!!! Outside of the rooms , there were chairs to sit and enjoy the sights. I don’t care for the fact that smoking people were put next to non-smoking people. & there was no option to state that @ time of booking. There is not any garbage cans on the floors outside the rooms, only 1 HUGE trash can on the street level. Wish they had trash cans scattered around the property. Pool was SMALL, pool sitting area is small. They need more chairs in the pool area. Pool was cloudy. You can smell the chlorine but once you were in the pool you couldn’t see anymore then a foot down. VERY CLOUDY. Housekeeping guy was nice. Anytime we needed towels or other room items he would just put the items in a bag and on our door. Noise in this area is “OK”. Across the street is a Indian food place that you walk up and order food and then you can sit in chairs on the side of the building to eat your food. (No Tables) It was VERY BUSY during the late night hours. The amount of firetrucks, ambulances, and police cars was insane in this area of ocean city. It felt like being in the middle of manhattan every day and night. So, if your looking for a motel in the downtown area, near everything and all the action , then this is the place . There are other hotels right near this motel as well. Overall hotel was clean, affordable, but just in the middle of all the action. Parking stinks as well. You literally are backing up into the middle of the road, and when traffic was backed up , you would not be able to get out. There was parking in the back of the building, don’t know what that was like. Parking in the “limited” front spots is tight. So if your a bigger person then your going to want to get a “end” spot to give your self a little more room to get in/out of your vehicle.

We have a special place in our hearts for the Princess Bayside Hotel!! We love this hotel so much! We have stayed in both buildings before and both are very clean and lovely. They have a home-like environment. We will continue to stay here when we visit Ocean City. The bay view rooms have such a beautiful view of the bay. Also, can’t forget to mention the sunsets are amazing to watch! The staff are very attentive to the guests and always address our needs. The Princess Bayside Beach Hotel is paradise!

He always has a smile on his face and is super-fast at getting your car. The only problem I had for the last couple of years is that the vents in the rooms are not cleaned. I mean never. They are filthy. I would get another hotel, but I would not have the view like at the Hilton. Every morning, we watch the sun rise and also see the dolphins swim by. If I had a side view of the ocean, I would be very upset. I hope this year the housekeeping staff cleans those vents, in the bathroom also. I hope when I return in the summer of 2025 I don't have to take my dust rag and charge the Hilton for cleaning the room.

Positives: Room comfort, cleanliness, able to close off to separate rooms, full kitchen, large balcony, location, elevators numerous and working fast, double sinks in the bathroom Negatives: Single thermostat doesn't allow for different sleeping temperatures in a room that can be closed off into 2 different areas, closing the kids pool so early in the day on hot August days makes no sense (I am sure it is a lifeguard issue) and the other pool is not available late either and doesn't have the hot tub (over at the kiddie pool instead), the adult meals that are part of the meal package are stupid small and limited items, high jacuzzi tub threshold makes it difficult for seniors to get into the shower. I don't need a handicap accessible room, but it was hard getting in and out of the shower. Wifi can't handle the load during peak hours

I am disabled and cannot walk up the steps with luggage. The carpet in the hallway was gross and the room wasn't cleaned well. When Rosemary was told about this, she said that we were told there were not first floor canal views available. We never talked to anyone about our reservation, and we were told by Karen, who was rude, when we called to inquire about the motel that it was the change of shift, and we have to do everything online and she hung up on us. My wife told Rosemary this before we actually checked in! I can back and told her without an elevator, we couldn't stay. She told me that there wasn't anything that she could do. She did check to see if other rooms were available on the first, and they were not as she said everyone was already in their rooms. My wife told her we couldn't stay and she said there was nothing that we could do. She was very upset and so we had to leave. She never offered to credit our account or to provide us with a credit for another time. She called my wife this morning and acted like she didn't what was going on? I am now writing another review to make sure that anyone who stays here knows about the situation and just how unprofessional they are.

In summer peak time, dogs are not allowed to be on the ocean city beach, so I used to take my dog to Assateague national park for my dog to have some fun on the beach. But I don't need to go all the way to Assateague anymore. Bed was very plush(I like firm bed), but it was so comfortable! Complimentary hot coffee was good enough to save my time to drive looking for coffeeshop outside of hotel. It was the best hotel experience with my furkid ever!

Other than that, always a very enjoyable stay. Great amenities, especially the beach bar. This year was even better with DJ Nigel. He plays great music for ALL ages (5 to 93 one night!!) and interacted with everyone in a genuine and personable way. We don't travel to nightlife spots much anymore. Nigel brought the fun right to us!!! Five stars for Nigel!

Staff very responsive to our needs. If you plan to eat at Jack pancake for breakfast, be there before 9 am .The place will fill up quickly. It is convenient to everywhere both walking and driving distances. Boardwalk is not too crowded on this location because there is also Howard Johnson towards the middle of the ***** where the crowd and businesses are. Our stay was wonderful and will definitely book here.

The fridge in the room was switched off when we arrived, (presumably to save electricity/ money?) and we were told it was working but could take up to 4 hours to get to a reasonably cold temperature. Why wasn't it switched on by staff prior to our arrival? The bed sheets did have a couple of little stains but the bed was swiftly remade when we asked for it. The safe in the room for your valuable is not included in the price and will be charged for its use on a daily basis. We decided not to use it at all because of this. The breakfast included in the price was very basic and the breakfast area was tiny. Most people took their food back to their room. The room itself was basic but acceptable for our use and the balcony facing the beach was ideal. we didn't like the fact that privacy was limited from the room next door. Indoor and outdoor pools both seemed adequate and clean enough although there could have been more pool towels available at the indoor site. The hotel staff were pleasant, approachable and responsive to our requests and seemed to be content at work. The hotel is in a transition period, having just been bought over and renamed, but the owners/ management need to do better and put more money and time into this property. I hope to see improvements in the coming time, or the quality inn will be just a name and not a claim. Despite anything else, we did enjoy our stay here and I would recommend it, and hope to read the reviews of others who have stayed there this year.

The staff is very outgoing, everyone always says hello, and the hotel front desk staff was so helpful! We LOVE the pool, we didn’t get in this time, but we enjoyed sitting around and relaxing. Always super clean. We stayed in a newly renovated room this time as well and it was so nice, the new look is fantastic. We also love the location since it’s pretty central to uptown and downtown. I’m always raving about here to my friends, best place to stay in Ocean City! Royale Roasters is also fantastic, nice to be able to grab coffee without leaving and having to drive anywhere. Thank you again for an amazing stay- we are looking forward to coming back this winter for another stay-cation. Our daughter loves it here! Pictures are posted with this review- I believe it’s the 2 bedroom Ocean Front Suite with corner balcony— beautiful 😍 and so spacious!

I've never in my life written a google review because I myself own a business and I always feel like a one-time experience shoudnt define a review and every business deserves a second chance but this hotel.. let me tell you… does NOT deserve a second chance. The location is great. Can't disagree. It's prime, BUT so are many others for very similar prices. The room and hotel. Yes the outside porch is charming. Yes the reception hall is cozy but that's not where you spend the majority of your time. Which brings me to the rooms. They’re uncomfortably small. Do not trust the pictures on their website. The beds are tiny, the room is tiny, the bathroom is tiny. All of it felt very claustrophobic. There's no counter space for anything!! We had planned to prep some sandwiches for the beach! Have a little breakfast in the room (cereal, bagels, etc).We ended up spending on restaurants because we just didn't have the space to doSO! 3. Cleanliness. The carpet is beyond nasty, in the hallways as well as in the bedrooms. The room is not well maintained. the furniture is chipped and rusty, the window sills are filthy, etc. I can go on and on. All in all, we made it through the 5 days but we strongly advise you NOT to stay at this hotel. My wife and I tried to think of who may be OK with these standards. Younger crowds? Lower budget? Single or a young couple? But honestly we cant find a fit for anyone. Its plain horrible. Stay away.

Boardwalk is a two minute walk out and having access to tidelands pool was another big plus. On top of that, front desk was very charismatic and very helpful to accommodate our parking needs and other needs such as towels or toilet paper or other minor necessities. Overall great stay and everyone was happy.

From the moment we were allowed to check in Anna at the front desk recognized the size of my truck and went above and beyond to ask an employee to move their vehicle and secured a space to accommodate easy in/out for my truck and family. What started as an uncomfortable 1st night sleep due to a bad mattress, was quickly rectified by Anna and the maintenance staff early Saturday morning. Anna worked with maintenance and housekeeping to replace the mattress that had an entire side of bad springs with a new mattress and fresh linens, even going above and beyond the maintenance staff recognized the difference in the two mattresses and replaced both. Beyond satisfied with the service and quick action. As a side note, the room was clean and fresh, but I don't believe that housekeeping would have noticed the bad mattress and perhaps prior occupants never raised the issue to the front desk, leaving the issue for follow-on hotel guests. I live by the motto of leaving something better than found and besides ensuring a comfortable stay for myself, but hopefully a more pleasant staff for hotel visitors for room 509 into the future! Thank you again for being a major part of the fun Country Calling Weekend!

|도심까지 거리: 3.01kmWhen you book a hotel room in Ocean City between Memorial Day and Labor Day, you can count on two things: Astronomical rates and a guest experience below what you’d expect elsewhere for those prices. The Doubletree has both. But if you accept the reality that this is the new normal for all OC hotels during the busy season, you could certainly do worse than the Doubletree. The good: The rooms and common areas are clean and generally well-maintained. This isn’t an easy accomplishment with the combination of sand, salt air, and a seasonal housekeeping staff. The beachfront location is hard to beat. There are also nice pools with plenty of chairs as well as a spacious picnic area. The staff is friendly and helpful. Unlike a lot of the newer hotels, the walls are not paper-thin and there are no connecting rooms. It’s not loud. Needs Improvement: The room’s thermostats are locked at 68 degrees and the AC units are very loud, turning off and on throughout the night. With the high humidity of ocean air, the system is not up to the job. (For us, this was the one dealbreaker that would keep us from returning. Your tolerance for it may be higher). Housekeeping is hit or miss: One of our days they came, one day they just forgot. Service at the restaurant is slow and inattentive. Some of the electrical outlets in our room did not work. The property looks dated, and several minor things need maintenance. Bottom Line: If you want to pay dearly for a beachfront hotel in peak season, the Doubletree is a decent choice. It’s family-friendly, clean, and the location is hard to beat. Don’t expect the experience you’d get at an urban Hilton for the same premium rates, and you won’t be disappointed.
