We chose Ellsworth as a base camp to explore the Acadia area and as far west as the western shore of Penobscot Bay. After a good deal of driving and exploring for 5 days, we looked forward to returning to the Hampton each evening. Everything was up to the standards we expected and, even though it was busy, the breakfast area was large and well-staffed. The front desk was efficient and helpful. We especially appreciated the recommendation of Governer's Restaurant & Bakery across the street. Don't miss the nearby L.L. Bean Outlet.

When asked how she would summarize this stay, my wife said “clean and convenient.” We enjoyed our three-night stay here. All the women at the reception desk (esp. Katie and the super-helpful Erica; I forgot the other names, sorry!) were wonderful and helped us 1. extend our stay and 2. find something to lie on for our beach stargazing program. Due to oddities in our booking we stayed in two different rooms, and both were great (though the WiFi was weak in the second one). The breakfast was a bit disappointing—I skipped it once and my wife two days, though it’s hard to pinpoint why. I liked the yogurt. Would use as an Acadia “base camp” again.

우리는 별관의 방에 머물렀고 우리 그룹은 두 개의 방에 머물렀습니다. - 매우 깨끗하고 새롭습니다! 방은 깨끗하고 넓으며 침대는 편안합니다! 욕실은 작지만 매우 깨끗합니다! 우리는 아주 잘 잤다! 아침 식사는 잡고 갔다- 등산객에게 좋았습니다! 세탁실과 실내 수영장이 있습니다. 우리는 수영장을 사용하지 않았지만 크고 깨끗해 보였습니다. 우리는 많은 서비스를 사용하지 않았지만 프론트 데스크의 직원은 질문을 할 때 친절했습니다. 유일한 것은 방 중 하나가 새롭게 개조 된 방의 냄새가 있다는 것입니다. 운 좋게 우리는 향 주머니를 샀고 방에 많이 머물지 않았기 때문에 수용 가능했습니다. 다른 방은 냄새가 없었습니다! 당신이 머물고있는 방에 따라 생각합니다. 근처에 월마트가 있고 테슬라 초차가 있지만 루트는 호텔 앞 일방통행로이며 아카디아 국립공원까지 차로 약 40분 거리에 있어 그다지 편리하지는 않지만 마지막 순간에 매우 감사합니다. 예약 d/t 우리가 머물렀던 다른 장소의 배관 문제! 전반적으로 좋은 숙박 경험이며 깨끗하고 멋진 여관에 머물고 싶은 사람에게 이것을 추천합니다. 우리가 머물렀던 방은 모텔 방보다 확실히 훨씬 낫습니다!!
