I’ve stayed in plenty of different quality hotels motels and resorts, and this is an experience I will never forget. It was like a 1990s horror film. Gnats EVERYWHERE. I have no idea where they were coming from. They refused to leave. I smashed 5 and 5 more would come back. They seemed to be very attracted to the HVAC filter in the closet, as well as the crevices of the ceilings & walls. Most notably, ME. That could be you or your children. They were flying into my arms and neck and were trying to fly down my ear. Disgusting! I don’t even experience that outdoors! RocketStays response was “did you check under the kitchen sink for bug spray?” I shouldn’t have to poison myself to poison a bug. Do you not know what pest control is? Im surprised gnats we’re the only thing I saw and there were no ants. I’m sure there are bed bugs but I could not really confirm. If anything there is and they tried to detail the mattress itself to get rid of the stains. They could not however, get rid of the human sweat silhouette that is stained into the mattress. Disgusting. Very clearly Sleeping in someone else’s filth. I considered sleeping on one of the couches and wrapping myself up in a sheet with a mask on but I told myself there’s no reason to punish myself. I ended up washing my laundry with the in-unit machines that seem like they were just placed there recently and I hit the road at midnight. I slept in my car at a nearby turnpike service area. I slept great and woke up to a beautiful sunshine followed by an immaculate breakfast far away from room 203 at this location. As someone else said, VERY sketchy. Even the lock code situation is sketchy. That means if someone is watching my door they can easily enter the code and get right in when I am not there. Each set of blinds had one slat missing so someone with the right view could always look in. The stovetop and oven are covered in grease and grime. One gentle swipe of the hand and it comes right off the surface. Would not recommend you book any room type here. Keep your kids far away from here. I say that as a single adult with no kids. This building is unsafe. Destruction, infestation, dust and mold. The bathroom was clearly recently “remodeled”, but the entire place still looks and feels like the slums. Quite a depressing loss of $307+. The best parts about it were the in-unit washer and dryer, and the fact the Cheesecake Factory was not too far away for dinner. I thought I would cook something on the stove with the included weak cookware, but I refused to even consider utilizing the water from the sink for cooking water. God only knows what the pipes have been through in this place. Think about that. Very scary place. Assume all 5 star reviews are fake. Especially one that said “quiet safe neighborhood” or something like that. No it’s not. It’s way back in the deep end of a No Outlet road covered by trees and darkness. This is a great independent hotel right in the heart of Fort Lauderdale on Las Olas Blvd.. The hotel was undergoing renovations when we were there, but our room was newly renovated. However, I cannot figure out how housekeeping never sees leaking faucets, paint chips, dirty caulk when it comes to, checking out the overall appearance of the room before guests arrive. Restaurant quality was great, service was great, and security was clearly visible. The pool area is wonderful as well.

這是我在攜程網訂酒店最差的一次體驗。在Fort Lauderdale住一晚，第二天上郵輪。當晚完全沒有休息好，半夜一點多被敲門聲驚醒，之後安靜了，以為週末有人可能玩嗨了敲錯了門。半小時後又被排山倒海的敲門聲嚇到，感覺酒店着火了，跳起來一邊開門一邊想着要帶些什麼逃生… 開門見一男一女自稱是酒店保安，要查看我們的護照，此時左右隔壁和對門的住客都開門探頭。在登記checkin是我們的護照已給櫃枱看過且做了copy，為何半夜三更還要重複查？我們説明情況，那男的打對講與酒店內部講了一會兒，然後就説沒事了，我問你們在搞什麼？他説是系統問題與他無關，一句sorry也沒有走人。被嚇得不輕睡意全無，下樓到櫃枱問個究竟，原來有位同名同姓的人也這天入住，即便如此中間名不同，訂單號也不同呀，她在手機上拿到開門密碼，幸好我們的門是反鎖的，她又是晚上到；白頭我們外出她就可以進來了。酒店如此烏龍，半夜如此騷擾一句道歉的話也沒有。這家酒店此生不會再光顧！

During our trip through Florida, we had the pleasure of staying one night at the Ocean Reef Hotel, and it was truly a great experience. Upon arrival, we found the reception closed, but it wasn’t long before a very friendly lady came to assist us with check-in. She had just gone out to grab a bite to eat, which is completely understandable – everyone needs food! Once we got to our hotel room, we were pleased to find it clean, well-maintained, and above average in size. Although there were a few minor maintenance issues, what mattered most was that the beds were extremely comfortable and everything was spotless. After checking in, we went out for a meal, but upon returning, we discovered that the parking lot was nearly full, making it difficult to find a spot. Without even needing to ask, a very helpful staff member on the night shift immediately resolved the issue by assigning us a great parking space near the entrance. This thoughtful service made a huge difference. Throughout the night, this gentleman also conducted a round of checks, which gave us a great sense of security. The hotel itself was quiet, and we had a restful night's sleep. The bathroom facilities, including the toilet and shower, were also impeccably clean. In the morning, when we checked out, the same lady who helped us with check-in was there again, and once more, we were greeted with kindness and a friendly smile. This hotel is definitely a place I would return to during a Florida road trip. I highly recommend it and want to thank the staff for their excellent care. It’s absolutely a place to revisit.

We stayed at the Crown Plaza Ft Lauderdale Harbor both before and after our recent cruise. The hotel is very convenient to the cruise terminals and provides reserved shuttle service to the terminal for a $10 per person fee. They also have free reserved 24-hour shuttle service to the airport every hour. The hotel, itself, is clean and neat but nothing fancy. There is a breakfast buffet and the staff is very helpful. DC, the young man who checked us in, helped us with everything we needed to experience a seamless transition from the hotel to the ship. He even showed us how to use Uber (we are older) to go to the Las Olas district of Ft Lauderdale. His help assured we had an enjoyable pre and post cruise experience.

We were in town for a funeral. While checking in Oscar, the front desk associate asked what we were planning to do for the weekend. I explained we were local from Palm Bay and were here for a funeral. Oscar said he was sorry to hear the news and said, ”Let me see if the weekend can be a bit better”. We finished checking in and went to our room. After entering the room, we discovered he had given us an intracoastal room that you could also see the ocean from. This ”little” thing from Oscar made the weekend for my wife, as it was also her birthday, and we were here for someone else. Thank you, Oscar!!!

As for value in the area compared to other hotels you really can’t get better. We needed a place to stay for three nights and every other hotel in the area We were looking at paying much more. The rooms are small but they look recently remodeled and are clean and comfortable. If you want to spend a $1000 or more on a room for three nights than great, you can get one of the other hotels, but if you’re looking for something that’s still on the beach and actually affordable and still nice than I would recommend staying here..

Great location situated on a big, quite private beach with ample free parking for residents and some free beds on the beach area. Kids club and facilities to keep them amused. Property slightly dated and old fashioned but thats what gives it an ambiance of old florida. Spacious units kept in good condition, friendly, efficient helpful staff. Only criticism is update the tvs they are old, small and past their sell by date.

Staff was great, especially Rita (Margarité) at the welcome desk. I realized that my phone had fallen out of my phone in the taxi. I had experienced long flight delays & was exhausted, paid cash for the cab & had no record. It was late. She assured me that when the manager arrived in the AM, she’d help me ask the manager to pull the video capture from the arrival area (I noticed there were several cameras there) & give me the info to contact the cab company. Rita was back in the morning & helped me along with Michelle to ask the manager for help. The manager Melinda found the info for me in the morning from the video feed. Everyone was very kind & professional. I thank them very much for their help in getting my phone retrieved! Great stay & helpful staff. I hope Rita gets some recognition & perhaps a promotion as she has LOTS of potential in the hospitality businesses. It was wonderful not to have to buy a new phone & especially not to fret about it on my cruise following my stay at Aloft Ft. Lauderdale! Thanks RITA!! The transportation company with the pineapple welcome logo in the hotel is also great in getting passengers to the cruise terminal.

If you are looking for a lovely boutique style, away from the main hustle stay, then the aptly named Oasis is a definite must. We stayed for 3 nights as a party of 6 (with 2 infants), and found it perfect. Just a 20 min or so walk or 3 minute uber to the main downtown area of Lauderdale, and really close for easy access to the cruise port. It was ideal. Really comfortable lovely garden / lanai area (friendly cat) well maintained. WE loved it !

Poor customer service. On the second day of a three night visit, I went to pick up my car from the hotel valet. After thirty minutes of standing at the valet stand I was informed that my car had been towed from the garage the night previously. After another two hours my car was picked up from the tow lot and returned to me. I was given the keys with no apology or explanation. The delay caused me to missed dinner with friends. I was never contacted by the hotel to apologize and unbelievably, to me, they still charged me $34.28 for parking upon checkout. They didn’t even offer to pay for the gas used to drive my car back to the hotel from pompano beach. Other than this extremely poor experience, this is a nice hotel. Relatively new, clean and well maintained. I have stayed here multiple times, although after this experience I will be looking at other properties in the area. There is a nice rooftop pool and several good restaurants in walking distance. The hotel does not really recognize status. As a Titanium Marriott Bonvoy member I have never been upgraded or even given water upon check in (water in room is $7 a bottle). Overall, I would recommend the hotel, but hope that the team there works on improving communication and service.

We stayed here thru Dayuse, to have a spot for the day after a cruise before an evening flight. The room was very basic, but nice. It did seem that it might be a nice place to stay. A little far from the main action. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to test the distance or time it takes to walk to the beach as it turned out to be a very rainy day. The shining star was the young woman, Angela, at the front desk. She was working alone, and the place was crazy with people checking in and checking out (around 10:00 am), people coming up to the desk asking for things like extra towels, and the phone ringing off the hook. She continued to help everyone in fairly quick order and maintained her composure and friendly, professional, polite demeanor. There was a with our reservation (duplicate reservations due to Dayuse error). Angela got it fixed quickly and got us checked in easily. Just a very friendly, pleasant individual to deal with.

If I could have given candle wood suites staff 100 out of 10 I would . If was my first time staying at candle wood and I was not disappointed at all. As a IHG member I have stayed at some of the brands listed but candlewood surprised the heck out of me . Exellent customer service and the rooms are very comfortable and nice.
