Great location just south of Downtown Tucson, very close to the streetcar line. Nice modern building with a clean and welcoming lobby. The room itself was spacious and comfortable however, the air conditioning unit was excessively noisy and intrusive in terms of trying to sleep. I appreciated the ”complimentary” breakfast but was disappointed that there was only paper plates and plastic cutlery available. I expected proper cups, plates and crockery in a Hilton Hotel. Lastly, I stayed four nights but my room didn't receive any housekeeping during that time - and no, I didn't have the ”do not disturb” sign on the door. I had to ask at reception for additional toilet rolls twice and the toiletries in the bathroom ran out. Despite reminding reception that no housekeeping had been received on the third day, nothing happened. When I mentioned this at checkout, the staff didn't seem that fussed. Disappointing.

I must say it is wonderful staying here, but Jordan ”valet” stole the show! He was such a pleasure pulling up in the evenings and getting such a wonderful greeting from him. He was absolutely AWESOME!!! Jordan made sure to ask how was our day, we felt like he personally took care of us. He's an asset to DoubleTree, keep up the great service DoubleTree, until next time!
