Sue was a great bartender but what made her stand out was I was talking about my experience at breakfast and said how well the staff was she gave me a card and told me to review the morning staff so people knew what a great experience I had. I loved talking to her and she could make a delicious drink but I loved she was a person who cared about those she worked with!! Jim, the guest ambassador was also a pleasure. Mostly because I didn’t know he was an ambassador until after I asked to sign up for vacation club. The hotel was clean. Great location and staff was amazing.

|도심까지 거리: 0.66kmWe saw a number of positive reviews of the Bijou but it was disappointing. First some background: the manager told us that the inn was rather run-down when she took over 2-3 years ago and that she has tried to improve the experience for guests. It appears that she has not been terribly successful. We stayed in the Sweetgrass room, located on the first floor. The inn is hard to categorize. We were looking for a ”Bed and Breakfast” rather than a traditional hotel and Bijou sometimes gets categorized that way but it is unclear whether that is how the inn wants to market itself. That said it's not a traditional hotel either. Our room was relatively small but it was furnished with a king-size bed that did not leave much space for anything else. There was only one chair in the room. The bed was comfortable enough but it is set up with what appears to be a regular box spring and one of the newer-style very deep mattresses covered with a thick topper. The result is a bed that is quite tall. I had no difficulty climbing onto the bed but my wife (5'0”) struggled to do so. We have stayed in other inns with that setup and they typically provide some sort of step to facilitate getting onto the bed but our room did not have anything of that sort. The room A/C was noisy. The doors are not hung properly and can be very difficult to close. Security does not appear to be a priority. The room was clean and everything seemed to work OK otherwise. It did offer free WiFi that performed adequately. The inn does offer a Continental Breakfast though the choices were somewhat limited. On our first morning one of the muffins looked good but it had mold on the bottom, leaving us wondering how fresh some of the pastry items were. The pastry I sampled was dry and seemed stale. The inn is located in the historic district which is nice for tourists, but it is next to one of the carriage ride businesses so there is a definite odor (sometimes overwhelming) of manure that is present on stepping out of the room. The manager is nominally present at the inn during daytime office hours but I do not recall seeing her at all other than on the afternoon we arrived. One of the reasons we enjoy staying at B&B's is the ability to interact with the hosts and other guests. That sort of interaction is not part of the package at the Bijou. There was no common room (other than the tiny space where breakfast items are set out) and rooms open onto an outside walkway. There are a couple of chairs set up in the walkway but the stench from the neighboring carriage business does not create a pleasant ambience for relaxing conversation. Parking is not convenient. There is a rather expensive lot across the street but the less expensive lot that the inn recommends is a couple of blocks away. The result is that the inn is not a very good B&B, but neither is it a real hotel. I don't know how to categorize it. In some ways it felt like one of the cheap motels my family stayed in ba

They are remodeling some rooms so hopefully they will be completed soon. Doesn't appear to house homeless individuals which is a plus.

|도심까지 거리: 1.41kmWe stayed at Liberty Place over this past weekend. Upon arriving to the hotel, we were greeted with Zac at the valet pickup/drop off area. He was very pleasant and helpful. Our paths crossed multiple times over the weekend and he was consistently friendly. He is a wonderful representation for hospitality especially since he is the first face you're likely to see. We witnessed another guest who wasn't so happy and seemed to take it out on Zac (which he did nothing wrong). He was kind, courteous, and just let it roll off his back. When my car service didn't show to take us to the airport he assisted us in finding alternative transportation. He really is an asset to this hotel.

|도심까지 거리: 0.53kmWe stayed for five nights in a room with a balcony that faced north. The room was spacious with a nice wardrobe, desk, small couch and king bed. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was very nice and the upgraded shower was a nice touch. They also offered turn-down service which was nice to come back to after dinner. The staff were very friendly and offered restaurant recommendations and suggestions on what to see. Valets were quick and helped with luggage. We had breakfast included. Breakfast was small but good. There were one or two hot options, pastries, muffins, fruit etc. along with coffee and juice. I don't need a large breakfast so this was perfect to get the day started. The rooms were quiet despite being in a very active area. The location was great, most attractions and restaurants were within a short walking distance. We could see the harbor from our balcony and watched a cruise ship come in one morning. If I go back to Charleston I would definitely stay here again.

Requested room to be serviced and it was ignored. When complained, were told we could come to front desk to get towels. Breakfast was OK, however, each day there seemed to be less and less to choose from. Could be because it was very full and it was a holiday weekend but it is really no excuse.

Every butler was extremely friendly and eager to be of assistance in any way from delivering breakfast, to offering recommendations for dining. The hotel also has a cozy, chic bar that offers some amazing cocktails and small bites. The welcome cocktail we received upon arrival was delightful. The bed was extremely comfortable and the daily turndown service was a pleasant surprise. Thecroom comes with a stocked refrigerator full of various beverages from kambucha to cold brew. They also restock a supply of local snacks daily. This is a classy hotel that I would certainly visit again.

|도심까지 거리: 9.7kmMarch 2024 Staying for a visit with family on John’s Island. Very convenient, front desk staff very nice, large rooms, older hotel but clean with well stocked rooms. Breakfast provided, plenty of choices, food typical. Upon arrival you are told and written that there will be NO room service unless asked for so needless to say we were quite surprised when a woman came barging into our room the first morning, clearly with a pass key. She had no “normal” housekeeping cart with her, only a trash bin with what looked like a bag of some supplies. No identification or housekeeping clothing on. Could not speak any English to even explain why she was standing in our room. Needless to say she was escorted out. Second day it happened again but did not enter, only a slight knock. Front desk was notified both days. They were very apologetic explaining, new employees in training , no English etc. I get it but in this day and time it was quite unsettling to say the least not to mention a little sketchy. Just a reminder to lock up and protect your valuables, everywhere. Hopefully the hotel is diligently working to remedy this. Special note, for some reason there is a 2-3 in gap between the room door and the floor. Might want to take a towel and stuff under the door for extra privacy, safety etc. Very weird. Overall, financially it was fine. Will we stay there again? Not sure yet.

The very first moment that I interacted with anyone here, Nika helped us make sure that we booked the ideal reservation for our budget/situation… and she has continued to be just the right amount of helpful at precisely the moment that it is called for, and for that we couldn’t be more grateful. She, along with the always charismatic Deasmond, have appeared like a glimmering ray of hope in whats become a dark and dreary world. It’s the little things we do, which go unacknowledged by self, that tend to have the most profound impact on the lives of those around us. In this experience it has been made clear that they, whether aware of it or not, have certainly affected our period of hardship in an unexpected and positive way. And for that I say “Thank you!”

The Inn is charming and very comfortable. We were very pleased with the continental breakfast and especially impressed by the lavish offerings at the wine hours. We also enjoyed the cookies and milk later. The Inn’s location is walking distance to wonderful restaurants, and we felt we had definitely made the right hotel choice for our party of 8 birthday reunion.

I thought I was at the wrong location when I pulled into the parking lot. The room assigned to me had a musty smell, the bathroom sink was cracked and both door handles were separating from the bathroom door. The front desk lady offered to move me to another room when I mentioned the issues with the sink and door handles. My main purpose for bringing these issues to the front desk’s attention was to make sure they were aware of preexisting damage to the room so I would not be charged. I found out that they were already aware of these issues, but they are still renting the room as is. The lady at check in was cordial. However, the young lady at checkout needs additional customer service training. She was very rude. She did not smile when I approached her. She simply said “How can I help you?” in a nasty manner. After turning in my keys, she asked me if I wanted a receipt. I said “Yes, please.” She handed me my receipt. I said “Thank you.” She said absolutely nothing. How rude was that? The proper thing would have been to ask me how my stay was, thank me for staying there and to ask me to come again.

Breakfast staff really friendly and helpful but the breakfast could use some work though except the Waffles those were pretty good. The front desk ladies are so warm and welcoming except for one. I had to go back to ensure I got her name Kaya. She needs customer service training or maybe she's not a people's person if so she's doing the wrong job. Her approach is like she's bothered by you when you go to the desk. First time in Charleston so I asked directions to the Historic District and where to find what. She looked at me and said ”ma'am you can use your GPS that's what I use” and she went back on the computer to do whatever she was doing. That same day we left and went to get a quick lunch at Ruby Tuesday next door (DO NOT TRY THEM), my husband who is super friendly and talkative with everyone was just sharing with her about Ruby Tuesday and asking if she ever tried it, bluntly said NO, and went back on her phone. The ladies that work at night were totally opposite, Tonyann and Fiona. They recommend Triangle Char and Bar a MUST try very close to the hotel. They always have a smile and are ready to help. Overall, I'll definitely be back at the hotel, but hopefully, Kaya isn't there when I am.

I checked in on April 4 , 2023 and stayed in room 139 with bed bugs and roaches. The roach was big and had babies too. I brought a can of raid . I didn't know they had bed bugs until I finally laid up under their sheets after a week. So, I was woken up by something biting me I turned on the light and looked on the pillow and there was a bed bug. I went to the office at 2:00 am in my night clothes and told the staff that I have bed bugs, I went to room 229 and moved my belongings from 139 room to the new room . Okay, I was made whole with that situation . Now, I paid by the week the total amount is $496.74 times 4 for the month. The grand total is $1,979.04 . I just paid for the room again (weekly) on Friday 28, 2023 and early Sunday morning around 12:00 am. i was told that i had to leave the premise because i had my door open. The lady security guard did not knock on my door she was too lazy to walk up the stairs to tell me to close my door. But, instead she screamed from the top of her lungs , like a block away to tell me to close my room door. Motel 6 robbed me of my money that consisted of $494.74 . I have all of my recipients for proof . I contracted the Health department and BBB about this matter. WHERE'S MY MONEY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! REFUND MY MONEY !!!!!!!w

|도심까지 거리: 23.07km이것은 한때 멋진 여관이었습니다. 불행히도 그것은 나이를 보여주고 있으며 그것에 대해 무시하는 공기가 있습니다. 매우 넓은 숙박 시설, 아름다운 부지 및 미들턴 플레이스의 공식 정원까지 쉽게 걸어 갈 수있는 능력, 2 층 방에서의 전망은 우리가 오크의 캐노피를 따라 높이가있는 나무 집에있는 것처럼 보였습니다. 이번 주말 여행은 남편의 늦은 생일 선물이었고 패키지를 사주었습니다. 냉장고에 찬 병의 Prosecco와 함께 방에 거대한 화려한 꽃 배치가있었습니다. 패키지에는 사랑스러운 미들 토 플레이스 레스토랑에서 저녁 식사가 포함되어 있습니다. 이제 3 성급 이유. 주말에 갈 수있는 매우 비싼 곳이지만 모든 것이 비용에 적합하다면 돈이 신경 쓰지 않습니다. 우리가 방에 들어갔을 때 첫인상은 벌레 스프레이 냄새가 강하다는 것입니다. 그리고 그 냄새는 주말 내내 계속되었습니다. 하지만 그로인해 우리는 여러 죽음의 고통을 겪고 있는 악명 높은 팔레토 벌레와 작은 인치 벌레와 날아다니는 벌레를 가지고 있었습니다. 마치 불파리처럼 보이던 벌레들은 스프레이로 인해 단계적으로 움직일 수 없는 것 같았습니다. 우리가 책상과 이것을 공유했을 때 응답은 숲에있었습니다. 창문은 전체 벽을 차지하고 청소하면 충격적 일 것입니다. 다시 나무와 습도는 도전적이어야하지만 가격에 대해 더 많은 것을 기대할 것입니다. 패널링은 나이와 소파와 과장된 의자를 보여주고있었습니다. 방은 거대했고 우리는 춤을 추었을 수 있었지만 방 크기 때문에 더 작아 보이는 퀸 사이즈 침대 만있었습니다. 매트리스는 중간에 심하게 침몰했고 우리 중 한 명이 움직일 때마다 우리는 중간에 되돌아 가게되었습니다. 아침 뷔페가 포함되어 있었고 약간 무시되었습니다. 밝은 쪽에서는 우리 옆의 유닛을 개조하고있는 것처럼 보였으므로이 장소를 원래의 영광으로 되돌릴 수 있기를 바랍니다. 업데이트 된 방에 있고 가격이 더 좋을 때 비수기에 다시 시도 할 것입니다.

A Beautiful hotel in the heart of the city!! We appreciate the attention to the interior details, custom fixtures and finishes in our room, this is very unique and thankfully Not the standard boring corporate design. The hotel location is walkable to shops and restaurants and they offer gated valet parking, who were always polite, friendly, and quick to get your car. The entire staff was very accommodating and friendly from answering questions and gave us suggestions for activities with our kids. The Service was outstanding and professional, check in and check out was excellent. The beaches are a short drive away, easy to drive to and find parking. Next door is a excellent restaurant,.fyi.. Our Room was spacious and clean. The staff was accommodating with any additional requests we needed. I highly recommend Hotel Bella Grace! We are planning on staying again soon!

|도심까지 거리: 0.64kmMy husband and I spent 3 nights in a king suite at the Andrew Pinckney Inn. The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom, toilet and tub/shower , was small but adequate. Breakfast had more selections than a typical continental breakfast. It was good, but if you want something special and yummy I’d suggest you dine out. The location is great. We, a couple of seniors, walked everywhere. We would stay here again.

|도심까지 거리: 0.74km나는 이것 전에 르네상스에 몇 번 머물렀고 전반적으로 내 체류를 즐겼습니다. 즉, 좋은 서비스가 있었지만 상황이 미끄러지기 시작하여 4 성급이 아닌 2 성급 또는 3 성급 호텔의 라인을 따라 더 많이 만드는 느낌이 듭니다. 그리고 제 샤워기의 수압이 끔찍해서 샤워기 세면대가 범람했습니다 배수구가 막혔을 텐데요 그리고 샤워기의 조명기구 주위에 페인트가 벗겨져 있었습니다. 또한 벽에 붙은 침대 옆 램프가 처져 약간 빈민가인 듯한 느낌을 받았습니다. 내 침대는 괜찮 았지만 훌륭하지는 않았으며 좌석 가구가 약간 마모 된 것처럼 보였습니다. 4성급 호텔을 운영하고 표준에 부합하는 것이 어렵다는 것을 알고 있지만, 이러한 것들은 내 경험의 일부가 되는 것만으로도 그곳에 있는 동안 내 세상을 흔들지 않았지만 르네상스에서 더 많은 것을 기대했습니다. 4성급 호텔 등급입니다.

|도심까지 거리: 3.37kmAnother year, another corporate meeting at the Cambria in Charleston. This year it started off with a very indifferent front desk reception from the desk staff. The rooms are quite decent, but nothing seems to have been done about the hot water issues. If you want a lukewarm shower, get up early, and run the water for at least 7 to 10 minutes so that it warms up. Our room was ”serviced” each day, however no new coffee or cups were placed on the coffee bar. The bartender was downright hateful, yelling at people, and cut off food service suddenly. This was unfortunate for those who had traveled from the US West Coast, and had not had anything for supper, and had no transportation. There are no walkable restaurants near the hotel. The bartender further was yelling at people, and told one in our party ”I am a single mother.” He informed her that he was a single father, but he was still working and making arrangements for his children's care. Just unnecessary. The breakfasts are $13 plus tax, and the breakfast area was dirty. There was old food on the tables, and the offerings included rubber eggs, cement grits, swimming in grease bacon. The whole breakfast self service area was filthy. This hotel knew this large group was coming, yet there was no plan to accommodate the crowd. This is just poor hotel management. Do not book groups to this hotel.
