SUNDAY (4/21): Upon arrival, I requested a room upgrade, which was granted (two bed to one bed). The room was fine, but the furnishings were appalling. The work ”desk” had legs that would have collapsed if the table was moved. I called the front desk and was moved rooms. The next room had a sturdy table, but the fridge was frozen and unplugged, per Maintenance. Maintenance switched out the fridge and all was well. MONDAY (4/22): I tried to work at the ”desk”, however, the desk's finish is so waxy that the desk felt dirty. The chair provided was not the proper height NOR depth; the depth of the chair was the size of a manila folder. I tried the reading chair and it was too narrow, as well as the ottoman, which was very short to adequately work at the table/desk. TUESDAY (4/23): called down to the front desk for an alternate chair. I was told ”all the chairs are the same”. I said ”I find it very poor that you cannot take the time to help me be comfortable in my room”. She replied ”we have an office where people do work that you can use”. To which I tried to respond that if all the chairs are the same, then why would this be different, HOWEVER, the agent INTERRUPTED me and restated the work office scenario. I asked to be able to speak and she told me I was interrupting her so I let her finish, after which SHE HUNG THE PHONE UP. I called back, and SHE HUNG THE PHONE UP AGAIN. I called a third time, remember, this is to get a CHAIR I AM COMFORTABLE IN (that is all I needed help with), and asked the other desk agent for Maintenance, since he had been so helpful in changing out my refrigerator. She said she could not find him (9pm), and would have him call me when she did. I received no call from Maintenance. WEDNESDAY (4/24): I called for the manager and was sent to voicemail (8:15am). He called back at 9:15am. And asked what he could help with. I stated that I was checking out, as the service was poor and the rooms were out of date, and he responded ”thank you” and hung up.
