We have stayed at the property before, largely because of its very convenient location. We were going to the ‘Paris - Impressions of Life’ exhibition at the Bendigo Art Gallery, which is just over the road. The rooms are small and the bathroom tiny so OK for a night or two, but not longer. Also, Room 1, where we were, would benefit from an additional bedside light. Having only one is not very satisfactory. On this last occasion there were a fair few ants inside - unusual at the cusp of autumn and winter. On a more positive note, we did have a very good meal at Wine Bank on View, which is at the front of Allawah.

Room was clean and comfortable. Loved the balcony for afternoon cheese and wine. WINE BANK was an excellent choice for dinner. Accommodation is an easy walk to everything.
