호텔은 시장과 레스토랑까지 차로 약 2분 거리에 있는 좋은 위치에 있습니다. 편의시설은 좋았고, 괜찮은 체육관, 수영장(따뜻하지 않음), 자쿠지(따뜻함) 및 사우나가 있습니다. 직원들은 예의바르고, 매일 아침 누군가가 당신의 방에 가서 우리와 함께 방 문을 열고 미니바를 확인하는 것이 마음에 들지 않았습니다. 리셉션에 그런 일이 일어나지 않도록 요청했지만 계속되었습니다. 그 외에는 호텔이 훌륭해서 다시 머물고 싶습니다.
Only accommodation available close to conference at Rose Hill. Run down and shabby rooms. Stale smell in lobbies. Not clean. Despite us booking and paying through Bookings.com the hotel demanded a $200 deposit upon arrival. It is now 2 weeks since our stay and deposit still not refunded - despite frequent calls to management. Seeing other reviews, we now realise we are not alone. TOTAL SCAMMERS - DO NOT STAY HERE
We like so many things about this hotel! At first, we had doubts about its location as it is a bit further from the city centre, but when we reached the hotel, our mind changed immediately. The location is great for us, it’s just 5-min walking from the Granville train station, minimum chaos involved to find the hotel since you can practically see it from the station itself; so near, so distinctive, you’ll notice it easily! It’s located above a bar, it wasn’t too noisy so it’s okay. Check in and check out were quick and easy, Wi-Fi works perfectly. We got upgraded from a Double Room to a Family Room, but we loved it since it has a lot of natural light; very refreshing in the morning and breezy at night. Our room is okay, beds are comfy, we’ve got clean towels ready as well. The room comes with a mini fridge, kettle, iron & iron board, paper cups, basic tea, coffee, sugar combo, and we also have a huge TV. We found the multiple power points next to each bed very interesting and helpful, so that’s definitely a plus point! The shared bathrooms for female are located mainly around the single/double rooms, but we’re cool with it. The bathrooms come with complimentary Shampoo, Body Wash, Conditioner, hot water, so all is good. They are usually clean in the morning, so no complains. There are many eateries nearby, also marts. There’s a halal Pakistani/Arab food outlet right across the hotel and we loved how generous they are with the food; they’re usually open in the evening till late so it’s really helpful for us to get takeouts after a long day sightseeing in the city. The hotel doesn’t have an elevator and the stairs are pretty steep, but the staff helped us with our luggage. There’s a washer, but no dryer.
우리는 시드니에서 짧은 휴식을 취했고 여기에 머물기로 결정했습니다. 정말 멋진 경험입니다. 우리가 체크인하러 갔을 때 우리 방은 준비되지 않았고 계속 기다리지 않고 즉시 다른 방으로 업그레이드되었습니다. 도착하기 전에 우리는 우리가 전에 여기에 머 무르지 않은 것을 보았을 때 호텔에 우리를 환영하는 호텔 팀원으로부터 전화를 받았습니다. 주차는 쉬웠고, 사실 우리가 거기 있는 동안 주차장에 주차했고 파라마타의 기차역(15분)과 시드니까지 기차(차로 30분)에 쉽게 갈 수 있었습니다. 방은 매우 편안했습니다. 직원, 숙박 시설, 음식 및 위치 등 이 호텔의 전반적인 분위기를 좋아합니다. 우리는 돌아올 것이다.
위치는 마트도 가깝고 트레인역도 가까워서 정말 좋은데, 처음 첫날을 제외하고는 나머지 머무는 동안 청소는 직접 해야 하더라구요, 그래도 안에 세탁기 건조기 등이 구비되어 있어서 세탁세제하고, 휴지 정도만 본인이 구매하면, 출장으로 가서 저렴한 가격으로 머무는데 아무 문제 없을꺼 같습니다. 주방에 있는 기구들은 좀 낡아서 칼은 잘 안들고 하네요.. 그래도 10점 만점에 7점 정도는 될꺼 같습니다.
A fantastic place to stay for a family with children. Location is convenient, easy access to public transport, shopping centre, CommBank stadium and Eat Street. All of the staff were helpful and kind. From the front desk to those working in the restaurant to the housekeeping, everyone helped make our stay easy. Rooms are clean. Great deal for kids to stay and eat free
이 호텔의 위치는 훌륭합니다! 기차역에서 도보로 2 분 거리에 있으며 Westfield Mall이 바로 옆에 있습니다. 따라서 도시 또는 시드니의 어느 곳으로든 이동하는 것이 편리합니다. 호텔 프런트 데스크는 매우 환영하며 길을 안내하거나 정보를 제공하며 인상이 매우 좋습니다!
Stayed at Meriton, George st on 4th April 2024 in room 207. Initially when checking in was provided a higher floor room (cant remember the room number). However, when entering there was a strong odour (perhaps of Indian cooking in the morning). Went back to reception to advise of the issue, however, was told that they needed housekeeping to check the room and rectify the issue. This would take a couple of hours as housekeeping were very busy. I requested regardless of what housekeeping does, i would like to please change room as i also didnt want excessive fragrance to mask the smell. I was told it was their policy to have the room inspected first, even though I said i literally just checked in and have not touched anything. Regardless i accepted their policy and went out for lunch. 1 hour passed and i asked if the room was inspected and was advised it had not been. At this stage i requested to please escalate with supervisor (who was not available at the time). Eventually i was called back and was told i could move to room 207 (lower floor) which i accepted. I had work to do during the day and the 2nd level floor had a lot of construction at the time. A lot of drilling and hammering noises but this did stop at around 5pm onwards. The other gripe was not being able to use the bathtub, as the plug was completely mismatched. It was too big for the hole. I tried to call front desk but no pick up so didnt bother again as regardless i didnt want to have to wait another 30mins or so for this to be rectified. On check-out the following morning there was a ”supervisor” there who checked me out; i only assume this as he had a formal black jacket on. He asked if everything was ok, i mentioned about the bath plug at the time, his reply was, that's unfortunate, we'll look to get that fixed; which doesnt really help me, but i guess there was nothing that could be done anyway as i was checking out. The issue i had with front desk also was even though there were 3 staff at the front (4th April) no one was serving customers. They were all talking to a maintenance person who was showing them photos of something on his phone. So we all waited awkwardly to be called to the front. This also happened when i came to switch my room, 1 front desk servicing cusotmers only. the other 2 front desk staff were on the computer doing something else. Again, if Meriton would like to review the footage then they will be able to confirm. Note, i have stayed in many different Meriton Apartments all over the country for 10+ years and have never had this happen before. It was very awkward and also annoying to wait when only 1 staff was servicing customers, and the other 2 were doing something else (whilst there was a cue forming). I have always enjoyed staying at Meriton apartments all over the state and this is the first time i have had this sort of issues which wasted a lot of my time. I will continue to stay at Meriton suites but just not this one. thank you.
