We had prepaid our B&B overnight stay with Booking .com for Saturday 28th September at 3pm , upon arrival the receptionist hardly lifted her head to recognize us as guests, she just thrust the booking form for address & car reg and we would have to pay £10 for a disabled room.. She then informed us that a £200 deposit was required to be taken out of my credit card as recently rooms had recently been trashed. My wife is 67 & I am 69. On checking my account I didn't have £200 in credit.I then showed her the *********** reservation paperwork and confirmed that it didn't require any form of deposit on the paperwork. She then informed me that we wouldn't be able to book in or stay in the hotel, at this time my wife who is disabled was crying. I then tried to resolve the situation by offering £200 in cash which she accepted after counting it. I then asked her for a receipt to have the money returned to me on checking out the next morning, she refused saying that she didn't give receipts. We requested the manager and explained her behavior, he apologized and gave me back my deposit and didn't take any money for the disabled room. We were treated deplorable and would not recommend the hotel to anyone, the complete stay was ruined.

My partner had booked an over night stay for New Year’s Eve, which was meant to be a special birthday gift for me. Upon our arrival, we were immediately greeted by a large event taking place, which led to us being redirected into the drawing room to wait for check-in. After a prolonged wait, we were finally able to check in, and while the staff member handling the process was polite, there was no communication regarding the spa’s adjusted hours. It was only when we arrived at the spa at 5 p.m. (after being delayed by the check-in process) that we were informed the spa was closing early for New Year’s Eve. This was incredibly disappointing, as we had hoped to use the facilities that evening. Our plans to visit the spa the following morning were also thwarted, as I was kept awake by the noise of doors slamming throughout the night. I am unsure whether this was caused by guests or staff, but it made for an uncomfortable night. We then had dinner at the Cultra Inn. While the food was satisfactory, the service left much to be desired. We waited over 30 minutes for our dessert, and when a waiter finally came to check on us, they seemed unaware that our order had not yet been placed with the kitchen. To make matters worse, I noticed that the Guinness I was served was in a chipped glass, which I immediately reported to the staff so they could dispose of it. After dinner, there was little in terms of entertainment at the hotel, so my partner and I returned to our room. Unfortunately, the mattress on our bed was improperly sized, hanging off the divan base at one end. While this did not pose an immediate concern, it was still an uncomfortable detail. Although I chose not to voice these concerns at check-out, as the stay was a gift from my partner, I have since learned the substantial amount he paid for this stay, and I feel compelled to share my dissatisfaction.

개인 아침 식사는 훌륭합니다! 6세대 6세대 고택의 모든 시설은 신축이고 주차장도 있습니다. 환경과 스타일 면에서 너무 작은 어린이에게는 적합하지 않습니다.

This is a 300 year old inn, which has been recently renovated. Very clean. Nice choice of breakfasts included in the stay and you can have two choices at one sitting. I had a Belfast bap with 2 sausages, 2 pieces of bacon and a fried egg. And also overnight oats with a lot of fresh berries. There were also toasts, jams, breakfast cereals with milk. We had a nice dinner in the pub area of the Inn (seafood chowder and sticky toffee and orange pudding) next to the real fireplace. You can also have your dinner in the restaurant area of the Inn where they serve breakfast. Two hundred metres from the hotel there is a very interesting Norman Carrickfergus castle built in 12th century and used until early 20th century by the army.
