I just returned from Italy where I was staying at the Hotel Stella del Mare. My brother, sister in-law, niece, nephew and adult son all stayed in the same room. There were 4 adults and 2 children and although it was a little cramped it wasn't bad. I'm not the type to spend much time in the hotel room while on vacation anyway. It was clean, had a full kitchen and a nice balcony. So, if you are the type that likes to cook breakfast and have it out on the balcony you could do so. There is a small local super market in the area along with a bunch of nice restaurants. The hotel has a decent continental breakfast for a decent price each morning. I like to get up and get out of the room fairly early in the morning so I just had the continental breakfast every morning. The pool was nice and they have regular family friendly events at the hotel and around the area. So, it is very kid friendly. Although, the hotel and area are all beautiful and worth high marks on their own, the true value of this hotel is the staff. My son and I took a train to Rome for a couple days during our stay. I had arranged for a drop off and pick up at the train station (NOT through the Hotel). The ride got us to the train station just fine but when we came back they never showed to pick us up. It was about 8pm local time. I called the hotel and explained the situation and even though there aren't any local taxi services she made a bunch of calls and found someone to pick us up and bring us back to the hotel. It was completely my mistake for not just making all transportation arrangements through the hotel in the first place but this staff person ( I wish I could give you her name) never complained she just set to task and solved my issue for me. The next time I will just make the travel arrangements through the hotel in the first place.

tutto ok,hotel vicino alla stazione FS e praticamente sul mare,ben tenuto pulito,camere rimodernate pulite e confortevoli,bagno spazioso e comodo.Personale gentile cordiale e sorridente.Prezzo accessibile.Non ho fatto colazione,sono convenzionati con spiagge vicine.

우리는 데크와 지중해 전망이 있는 멋진 방을 가지고 있었습니다. 침대는 훌륭했고 샤워는 훌륭했고 아침 식사는 훌륭했으며 Aperol Spritz는 훌륭했습니다. 15-20 분 정도입니다. 지중해를 따라 Chiavari 기차역까지 걸어 가면 시내 중심은 약 5 분입니다. 좋아, 그래서 기차 선로가 호텔 앞에 있지만 바다 또는 수영장 옆의 뒤쪽에있는 방을 찾으십시오. 장소는 순수한 부패에서 번성하는 호텔로 개조되었습니다. 호텔 밖으로 사진. 치아바리는 훌륭한 도시입니다. 이 지역(리구리아)에 있을 때 매일 포카치아와 페스토를 먹습니다.

Luogo carino e intimo dove passare un soggiorno a Lavagna a 2 passi dal mare in tutta tranquillità e sentirsi a casa. Dispone di un ristorante interno (si consiglia di prenotare siccome dispone di pochi posti), oppure se per una sera si decide di mangiare in un ristorante stellato (la gestione è la stessa) con una stella michelin, lo Chef Ivan vi saprà deliziare. Hotel Italia e Lido offers an excellent, central location; comfortable rooms with great views; and a large, well balanced breakfast buffet served in a lovely setting. Our room, while not large, had a very comfortable king bed and a small balcony with a view of Rapallo's lungomare, its castle, the Gulf of Tigullio and some great sunsets. The room rate, while not inexpensive, was fair and reasonable. We swam in the Gulf from the little beach between the hotel and the castle and walked virtually anywhere we wanted to go in Rapallo within 15 to 20 minutes at the most. A memorable experience in a place we hope to visit again.
