Hyatt emphasizes the ”H” in Hospitality. This is the 3rd or 4th time we have stayed here and it never disappoints. The staff is always welcoming. Room is clean and comfortable. Breakfast is as varied and good as a complementary hotel breakfast gets. We plan to come back.

나는 Gaylord에서 열리는 컨벤션에 참석했고 매일 아침 식사와 Gaylord로 가는 포장된 산책로는 매우 편리했습니다. 깨끗하고 서비스도 훌륭했고 매우 조용했습니다.

We used to come here every summer when visiting family in Fairfax County, as it was minutes to Old Town Alexandria and Mount Vernon and Huntly Meadows nature preserve and Dyke Marsh along the Potomac River for nature hikes and bald eagle spotting (and family). It's been 4 years or so since we stayed here and now they don't have the pool open. It was a really nice outdoor pool and they had a lifeguard on site who was just super! Such a shame. Also the breakfast was skimpier than I remembered. They were almost out of yogurt cups and the pastries were tiny and few and the only fruits were a few old oranges. Hmmm. The major problem, though, was that the brick pillars that hold up the second floor balconies were badly cracked and looked very unstable. Wow. There were guys working on the roof when we were there, and maybe they'll work on the pillars next, but it didn't look good. The accomodations were fine. I loved that there was a large shower/tub wc room with a sink, plus a dressing room area with a sink, so people with kids (or even couples) could shower while the other was dressing or putting on makeup. The minifridge and microwave were in the dressing room area and the shower loo room and the dressing room area both had doors for privacy. LOVED that. Clean and roomy, great location, great people, but needs some structural work. Good luck.

This was the least favorite of my Marriott experiences. Maybe my expectation for the Marriott brand was too high being that this is a 3 star hotel. There was a visible stain on the fitted sheet. The sheet was immediately replaced. Shortly thereafter, I discovered a stain on the top sheet which was never replaced (after requesting twice), multiple stains on the duvet, and a loose toilet seat. I asked about parking and was directed to a municipal garage next door. However, staff did not disclose information about day passes that allowed in/out access (good information to know up front when asking). I happen to inquire a second time in the presence of a manager. Nor was the employee knowledgeable about member benefits. Later, the bar was crowded with a private party, so we weren’t able to enjoy that amenity. Staff was friendly, but also exhibited an ‘oh well’ attitude. I will say the room was properly appointed and appeared clean. The hotel is in a great location and the balcony was a great place to view the Christmas tree with fireworks as the backdrop.

Check you bank account, they lied and said I caused a stain in the carpet when I entered the room as is. They are liars and besides the 100 hold they stole an extra 50.00. I am offended because as a professional, if I cause any damages, I am woman enough to pay and accept what I may have done. I traveled solo, there were no children with me, I didn’t eat in the room. The housekeeping staff are liars and BW stole 150.00 from me. I have stayed here several times before and never an issue. For the most part, I only sleep due to my busy schedule. I’m angry because I hate for someone to lie on me and steal from me. Beware of liars and thieves! Check your credit card and take before and after videos. Just a suggestion.
