This hotel was a mixture of going back in time 40 years ago and a Stephen King novel. Parking was plentiful but it was a maze to get to reception. First impression walking in this hotel is it needs a remodel. The carpet is dates and loose on the floor causing it to bunch up all over. Reception was fine. The attendants were personable. The room was like a dorm room. We opted for a "Mountain View". Well it's not much of a view and not really worth an extra fee. The room was cleanish. Bedroom was cleaner than the bathroom. It felt like my dorm room in college in the 1980s. There is nothing around this hotel so we opted for dinner which is a buffet that opens at 7pm. When we walked in the mixture of smells form the buffet wasn't appealing . Before knowing what the price was we thought the selection was about like an old Shoney's buffet in the states. The food was very low quality and lacking flavor. Even the desserts were not edible because they had zero flavor. Then we got the bill for 2 buffets and 2 iced teas. $122. Wow. We were thinking for the quality $39 tops each. I would not recommend this and probably worth a drive back into Gol to find real food. The rooms were very hot and there was no A/C. The window only cracked up about 3" so you could not get any good airflow going in the room. Beds were comfortable enough but nothing luxurious - sheets and towels were paper thin. We would not return. We would not stay here again.

Never again. The food was terrible, pre-made and tasteless, service is bad and the hotel is overpriced. There is no “aqua land” there is a cold pool and a few other things you have to pay for. It’s all worn down and looks like it’s been left to rot for ages. Stay away from this place.

My mother and I used this hotel as a short stop between the Westland and the Oppland. We noticed again that the staff is very friendly and helpfull. The beautiful scenery is a bonus. Very good dinner buffet, the breakfast perhaps a little less choice, but still good quality. Rooms tend to be small but quite comfy. They offer quite a variety of games and entertainment.

Een enorm groot hotel in the middle of nowhere. De kamer was redelijk groot, compleet en comfortabel. Alleen de badkamer was veelste te klein. Je kon je nauwelijks keren. Het hotel had anders 4,5 * van mij gehad. Het hotel kende een uitstekend buffet voor zowel het ontbijt als het diner. Ook voor de ontspanning waren er ruimtes met muziek. Ook kon er prima gewandeld worden.
