I had a wonderful experience at 1850 Hotel in Guanajuato. Upon arrival the front desk attendant Alex Hidalgo made us feel valued and welcomed. He greeted us with a genuine smile, checked us in efficiently and made an effort to make our stay enjoyable. The bellhop Omar was also very welcoming and handled our vehicle and luggage without any issues. We stayed in the Alexia room. The room was clean, comfortably air-conditioned, well prepared and comfortable bedding. I enjoyed the L’Occitane bathroom amenities. The scent is amazing and leaves your skin feeling refreshed. The location is centrally located in the main plaza and easy walking distance to all attractions. The rooftop bar offers a great variety of cocktails and amazing views of the city. Our room included breakfast at Casa Valadez. They offer fresh made bread and many delicious breakfasts entrees. I personally enjoyed the mole with chilaquiles and green juice. I highly recommend the hotel to singles, couples and families.

The Edelmira is a great choice for a visit to Guanajuato. It is an upscale hotel in a great central location.....steps from everything, including one of the nicest tree-lined and compact parks in Mexico. Staff is fabulous. Henrique was always able to point us in the right direction during our 3 days there. Breakfast was modestly priced and one of the great values left in travel. Great selections and everything was perfectly presented and delicious.....Eggs, chilaquiles, and awesome French toast. Our upgraded room upstairs was great....spacious, clean, blackout shutters....like a top tier business class hotel, but with abundant charm. Overall, a just great place to stay in Guanajuato.

We stayed at this hotel twice in 2023, to be closer to the BJX airport for early morning flights. While there are hotels closer to that airport (this hotel is a 25 minute drive to it) but this hotel is too nice to pass up for some of the not-so-nice airport area hotels. Guanajanto downtown is beautiful, not to be missed! The rest of the town isn't anything to write home about, we have done multipe tours and I'd stick to the area Villa Maria Cristina is in, and dowtown only. Ok, so we are Hyatt Explorist status. Both times our room was upgraded, which was very nice. The larger suites are lovely, we had one with a private patio with a table and loungers as well as Two full bathrooms, each with a bath tub and separate showers. Heaven! Robes and slippers also were privided with the room. We also got a turndown service with a lovely locally made treat. The hotel is old, and has the feel of an older hotel that has been well maintinaed, we could hear the pipes in the walls. Not a big deal. This room was facing a view of the mountains, but also along the main road. It was noisy All night with traffic. Light sleepers should request a room off the main road. The second time we had a slightly smaller room, no patio and one bathroom with a soaker tub. The hotel has 2 small pools, one indoors, 1 outside. There is also a spa and sauna (we had to sign up in advance to use it). There is also at least 1 hot tub set outdoors, although it was cold and we had to wait about 30 minutes for it to get heated. There's multiple outdoor patios. There is also a weekend brunch with a DJ but we did not participate. There is a bar and restaurant on site, and the food and service was good. There are also several restaurants within walking distance (5-10 minutes), an OXXO, and a few nice cafe/coffee shops nearby. There is a Nespresso machine in the room, however they charge you for each coffee pod used. Some of these rooms go for upwards of $500 USD a night. I personally find it tacky to be charged for using the coffee in the room. Out of hundreded of hotels we've stayed in over the years this has Never happend, and I found it extreamly odd. Managers - please get rid of that, it is not customary and ”cheapens” the overall feel of the hotel. The service was excellent both times we stayed here, the food was decent and setting beautiful. We'll be back!

Excelente atención para mí grupo de 50 personas. Excelente atención desde el primer contacto para la reservación. Me ayudó mucho su paciencia para programar la reservación. Las habitaciones muy limpias, muy amplias y acondicionadas con refrigerador y microondas y un lobby en cada habitación. Todo el personal es muy amable y empático. El desayuno está variado y riquísimo.y El estacionamiento para el autobús a la puerta del hotel es muy conveniente.

호텔로 가는 길은 터널과 경찰이 주요 도로를 막고 있어서 조금 혼란스러웠지만 결국 우리는 거기에 도착했습니다. 주차 대행 서비스는 없지만 차를 왼쪽에 빠르게 주차한 후 안으로 들어가서 도착을 알리면 주차해 드릴 것입니다. 우리는 Aileen이라는 훌륭하고 말을 잘하는 이중 언어 여성의 인사를 받았습니다. 그녀는 매우 도움이 되고 유익했습니다. 미국인 남자 친구가 스페인어를 몰랐기 때문에 영어를 할 수 있는 사람이 있다는 것은 우리에게 큰 장점이었습니다. 객실은 매우 깨끗했고 숙박에 필요한 모든 편의 시설을 갖추고 있었습니다. 집에 잊어버린 것이 있다면 그 사람이 갖고 있을 가능성이 높습니다. 우리는 호텔이 도시 한가운데에 있다는 것을 좋아했습니다. 모든 것이 도보 거리에 있습니다. 단점은… 우리는 마사지 3개를 예약했는데 스파룸은 1명만 들어갈 수 있었습니다. 적어도 커플 마사지를 받고 싶었지만 우리 방에 수용해 주었습니다. 우리가 원했던 것만큼 편안하지는 않았습니다. 안마사들은 훌륭한 일을 해냈습니다. 위층 방에서도 매우 시끄러운 소음이 들려왔고, 누군가 가구를 옮기거나 짓는 것 같았습니다. 오전 8시에 우리를 깨웠고 아침까지 소음이 더 심해져서 다시 잠을 잘 수 없었습니다. 그 외에도 이 호텔을 꼭 추천하고 싶습니다. 가족들이 다시 이 호텔에 머물도록 하고 싶습니다!
