Maya Tangalle was a decadent and luxurious escape from the city. The friendly staff are quick to greet you with smiles and efficient hospitality. The rooms and en suite bathrooms were spacious and large with beautiful accessories. The large pool was delightful and the warm water just washed your stress away. It was a quiet and unobtrusive ambience that helps one relax completely. The food served was absolutely delicious; perhaps the best I have experienced in resort hotels in Sri Lanka. Not just the taste, but the presentation and the service was impeccable. We were served "fried ice cream " for dessert- an original crunchy batter encasing vanilla ice cream that tantalised the taste buds. It was served in a decadent and pristine dining room that resembled royalty. An incredible hotel for a luxurious and peaceful holiday, Maya Tangalle should be your next holiday destination.
