It says on the hotel website that there is a restaurant on the property, but this is not true!!!!!! The rooms, however, are spacious and clean pity there is no restaurant The breakfast is good thank you

We went to Herford to attend a wedding. The family of the groom suggested the Hansa. It was centrally located and we were able to walk to most of the wedding-related activities. We stayed in one of the Black Suite rooms,quite nice with a modern bathroom and very comfortable bed. Being located in a pedestrian area, there was no noise at all during the night. Breakfast was included and it was quite substantial. In addition to the buffet items, it was possible to order fresh-cooked eggs. The staff at both the hotel and the breakfast cafe were very helpful. We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Hansa and definitely recommend it to anyone going to Herford.

This is our second time to Hotel Hansa and all because the staff were so lovely! Henry was accommodating and welcoming. We were a large group of 12 people and needed 6 rooms!!! And they did fantastic to ensure we were all dealt with correctly. The location is great with shops and supermarket within 2 mins walk. The coffee shop (Kontor Koffee) which is connected to the hotel and where breakfast for hotel guests are served. Breakfast is nice and light. Could do with more croissants (minor and very petty observation). Rooms are very spacious and very clean! Only other issue , its a max of 3 people in each room, so if you’re a family of 4 (2 adults 2 kids) bit of an issue! But as I was with other family it was fine , but would have had to have separate rooms just us. There is no hotel parking but a public car park within 2 mins walk and you can get discount on parking price. Overall this is now our go to hotel when in Herford! We live how comfortable we felt and were made to feel! Also they remembered us from the first visit so made us even happier!
