Unfortunately, experience for us was nothing but terrible because despite the fact that I informed them more than 24 hours in advance that due to ongoing arctic freeze and airport closures we won’t be making the connecting flight , hence won’t be in Houston on the day of the check in , I was advised that they won’t refund/cancel/amend/give credit for our reservation. Nothing at all, no expression of empathy either. They were one of many businesses that I had to deal with because of these weather conditions and all except Hilton expressed their concerned and did their best to accommodate us- starting from airlines to other hotels and venues. Everyone understood, made exceptions and accommodated to their best ability, but not this place. It’s upsetting to say the least and very telling. Lesson learned and won’t ever consider staying at Hilton venues.
