Spent two nights here to explore the night markets. It's very close and doesn't take long to walk. They can even provide an umbrella for those rainy summer days. The bath on the balcony is pretty big and even though has an open space, you can still pull the curtain for some privacy. It's a good place to stay for a few nights in banna.

Perfect location and friendly staff. The room was huge and had a wonderful balcony with chairs and bath tub looking over the river. The view was great. Room also included a fridge and stove top if you stay longer. Location was perfect for exploring the town and night market. Just a few minutes walk to the night market entrance and tons of other shops and restaurants. Staff was friendly, always greeting you when you arrive and also offered airport pickup, answered questions about activities to do, and helped me arrange a car to go to the botanical gardens. If you are very sensitive to noise you can hear the night market, but the door blocked enough sound and I had no trouble sleeping. Very happy with the stay and felt so relaxed.

Our stay at the Xishuangbanna Maiba hotel was really pleasant and really helped to make our time in the city memorable. The view from the windows and balcony were excellent both during the day and at night. The room was spacious, comfortable and provided benefits such as a washing machine, kitchen, two bathrooms, dining table and two TVs with an account set up to watch a wide variety of content. Apart from all of this, something that really stood out for us staying here was the helpfulness, generosity and professionalism of the staff. Well worth the cost of staying here.

This place was a real delight! The hotel occupies the whole of 9th floor of one of the taller buildings in Gaozhuang. When stepping out of the elevator you are in a large space which is the reception area where there always seems to be at least one, if not more, friendly and helpful members of staff to check you in / out or to provide you with advice on where nearby to go for lunch etc. The rooms are all self contained apartments. We had a double bedroom, a well appointed living room and kitchen, two full bathrooms, a washing machine with laundry detergent provided gratis and a balcony with a wonderful view of the night market. Ohh and the balcony has a bathtub on it in case you want to have a soak outside….Not a word of English was spoken here, but they were extremely excited to have a foreign guest, so if you can’t speak Chinese I’m sure you will get a very warm welcome from the staff who will go out of their way to make you feel at ease.
