호텔의 위치는 이상적이지만 편안함이 부족합니다. 도착하자마자 더러운 화장실이 우리를 기다리고 있었는데, 이는 큰 전환점이었습니다. 우리는 불행한 점을 직원에게 말하고 다른 방을 제공 받았지만 새 방에 도착했을 때 청소가 전혀되어 있지 않은 것을 보았습니다. 바닥에는 온통 더러운 침대 시트가 있었고 일부는 휴지를 사용했습니다 (화장실을 들여다 보지도 않았습니다). 그 후, 우리는 이틀 밤 동안만 제공되는 첫 번째 방에 머물기로 결정했습니다. 계단 우물 바로 앞에 위치해 있기 때문에 별 0개 대신 별 2개를 주었습니다. 추천하지 않습니다. 나는 거기에 더 좋은 숙박 시설이 있다고 확신합니다.

The rooms were a total mess. Not cleaned at all, it was smelly, there was trash of previous guests lying around, bathrooms were old and no hot water available, towels weren't properly cleaned as well, ceilings also weren't in the best condition. They refused to let us pay with card even though their payment condition on *********** stated that payments via multiple types of cards was available. Cash payment wasn't mentioned at all. Our whole group got the impression of them pulling a fraud. We were supposed to stay for four nights, we then decided to check out after two nights as we wanted to avoid being involved in possible illegal activities. We paid for those two nights in cash. Now, two days after our checkout, I received an email by *********** that the accomodation told them we didn't show up at their place to check in. That is a straight lie. We have proof of everything. If you want to have a pleasant stay at Jodhpur, we wholeheartedly advice you not to stay with Stepwell House/Haveli. They are a fraud and can not be trusted!

Its an old haveli located in the fort, with easy access to the old city and cafes and restaurants. While the location is good, the comforts and luxuries are missing despite paying a heavy price during the Sacred Sufi Festival. The rooms are basic and spartan. There are no elevators and really high steps so if your legs give you trouble, avoid staying here. Breakfast at Stepwell's affiliated Raas hotel (a 3 minute walk away) was magnificent. Would I stay here again ? Heck no !

If you want to stay inside old city, then this is one of good option which gives you a good view of stepwell. The hotel has been renovated recently and it seemed some work was on going, also the management has changed, so some older reviews may not be applicable as off Dec 2023. The rooms are cozy and comfortable, the staff is very friendly and helpful. Some travellers may miss TV in the room and an elevator to go up but I was ok with those two not being present. Morning breakfast was served at Stepwell Cafe which is mix of cold breakfast selection (mainly juices and cereal)and hot dishes made to order (eggs, paratha etc) - food was great and the cafe is something to enjoy all day long with a view of stepwell and Mehrangarh fort. Fort is visible only from cafe’s top level sitting. Special mention to manager Aijaj Khan for spectacular customer service.
