The hotel was very clean and quiet. Room was big and bed was comfortable enough. The breakfast area was extremely busy in the morning and the help was having a hard time keeping up. We arrived at the hotel early and asked if it was possible to check in. The desk clerk said it could be about 20 minutes. I said that would be great. I went out to the car to tell my husband. About that time, the parking lot filled with police cars and an ambulance. We went in later and asked about our room. A different clerk told us to come in and have a seat. He would let us know when it was ready. We waited and he told several others their rooms were ready, but not us. An hour and a half later, we walked back up to the desk and inquired about our room. It was ready and we weren’t told. No harm no foul, but we were tired since we had been on the road all day.
