There is nothing below 1 star otherwise the property deserved minus ratings. I have attached only a few pictures from the room we had got . The place needs deep cleaning. The staff is very lazy to do anything . When we entered the room it was as if it wasn’t even broomed. Floors were dirty, fan was dirty, just two dim bulbs in the room, spider webs around and very public toilet kind of a dingy dirty bathroom. It was raining there and water kept entering our room from the balcony as well as the corridor . We were worried about our luggage getting wet . They didn’t have a chef for 2 days out of the 6 days we had to stay there . The property is quite away from Kasol main market, don’t confuse it with the other Whoopers they have at Kasol market like us. They don’t really organise anything at the hostel to maintain the hostel vibe . Only while giving any convenience they will say that it is a hostel and they can’t help us . For example they didn’t allow food in the room saying that it’s a hostel and it has rules and it might get dirty in the room. How would they expect us to dirty the already existing dirty room. They didn’t have a cook at the property for more than 2 days and there is literally nothing around the property which seems good enough to go and eat.. we had to catch a bus and go till the main market to get food which is not an easy task as u have to wait a lot . Cabs are expensive to take each time for the market .. takes around 300-400 one way. You have to walk around 1-1.5 kms if you don’t want to go to the market for decent food. They charge you extra for heaters and towels apparently. All in all a horrible experience for 2700+ for one night. I don’t know how are they running this place and is every other Whoopers hostel like this . I have stayed with hosteller and Zostel (other hostel chains) in Himachal only and they were sooo good as hostels.. Clean and entertaining and mostly cheaper than this . Whoopers highly dissapointed us. Worst stay in Himachal in 45 days long trip .
