Only a 15 minute drive away from the usual Johannesburg airport hotel, a great stopover. I had 2nts on my way to Namibia and wished I could have stayed longer. Louise was fabulous on the airport pick up and check in. The girls looking after my room were fabulous and Harry in the kitchen is amazing. Delicious food and great menu variety. I did a day tour today to Apartheid Museum & Soweto and am just so excited to have visited. A great place to stay for families or budget conscious travellers like me. I’ll definitely be back.

The rooms are clean, neat and spacious. There are air conditioners in most rooms and fans are provided to those without, providing relief from the summer heat of Joburg. Beds are comfortable. Showers and sinks work properly with good water pressure. I appreciate the built-in blowdryer in the bathrooms. The garden is lovely, boasting a clean pool, sights of ducks and springboks, shaded seating areas and workout stations for pilates, yoga, boxing and strength training. From breakfast to dinner, the food is tantalising. Props to the chef! The staff are friendly and fulfilled all our requests timeously. The cleaning, food delivery and utility assistance is satisfactory. There is ample parking space. The check in-and-out is easy. The accommodation has an accessible location, being close to the airport and busier areas of Kempton Park whilst still maintaining a quiet and natural atmosphere. It is definitely worth the cost and I highly recommend for anyone looking for a hassle-free and peaceful stay.

Comfortable older style rooms. Small wildlife enclosure with ostrich impala and roebuck. Friendly, helpful staff providing really nice breakfast. The cook gave my wife some tips on African cooking which were informative. The owners double up as a taxi service and will take you wherever you need to go. Small family business providig reasonably priced accomodation.

I just want to thank everyone at AGL. I had a very nice stay, the staff is so friendly. Did my laundry late evening and even made sure that I had something to eat although I arrive very late. This was by far the best customer service. I would go back 100 times. A special thanks to Leyla, Louise and Vutali (best reseptionist lady ever). Thank you for making my trip to bali so special. Xxx
