3박 결제하였으나 2박 투숙하고 친정아버지의 급작스런 별세소식에 1박은 포기하고 급히 귀국했고,, 이런 사정을 얘기하고 1박부분 환불을 부탁드려보았으나 짤없더군요,, 세계적인 체인호텔인 하얏트호텔인데,, 비록 임박한 1박을 취소했고,, 기존 호텔 정책은 이해하지만,, 이런 일생에 한번 있을까말까한 특별한 상황을 인도적 차원에서 해결해줄순 없었을지 아주 많이 실망스럽고 많이 아쉬웠습니다,, 사정을 얘기하니 예정되었던 다른 호텔은 흔쾌히 무료취소 해주더군요,, 하얏트도 그렇게 해주었다면 무한 감동이고 역시 이름값 하는구나 하고 기억에 많이 남을 숙박지가 되었었을텐데,,, 하얏트콴탄은 객실빼고는 식당이고 리셉션이고 다 야외와 접해있어서 건기인 7월말 날씨에 투숙했는데 너무 더워서 좀 힘들더군요,, 시설이나 바다와 접한 위치, 주변식당도 접근성이 좋아서 그런면에선 좋았습니다,, I paid for 3 nights, but after staying for 2 nights, I gave up on staying 1 night and returned home in a hurry due to the news of my father's sudden death. I tried to explain the situation and ask for a refund for one night, but there was no solution. Hyatt Hotel is a global hotel chain. Even though I canceled my impending one-night stay,, I understand the existing hotel policy,,, A special, once-in-a-lifetime situation like this Couldn’t it have been resolved on a humanitarian level? I was very disappointed and very disappointed,, When I told them about the situation, they happily canceled the other hotel I had planned on for free. He did it,, If Hyatt did the same, I would be extremely touched and think it lives up to its name. It must have been a memorable stay,,, At Hyatt Kuantan, except for the rooms, the restaurant and reception are all adjacent to the outdoors. I stayed at the end of July, which is the dry season, and it was so hot that it was a bit difficult. Facilities, location facing the sea, and nearby restaurants are also easily accessible. It was good in that respect,,

The resort is nicely set up. Lots of trees and those who love nature wld definately love this place. The issue is the staff are mostly new and without much knowledge and not much sure they are properly trained/guided. Some whom are locals, don’t seem to be able to speak proper English. The restaurant is always infested with flies. Be careful of what u eat there. During my few days there for bfast, there were flies everywhere. Flies were dancing here and there on the food and our table. Some of their food is not covered and even their staff saw it but like just cldnt be bothered. Food taste is just ok only. Bicycles for free to use. But not maintained with many spoilt and useable. The room was ok. Spacious n clean. The villa’s pool was a bit dirty. I wonder how often they clean the pool. I understand sometimes leaves and other debris will drop in but it was dirty. Luckily upon my complaint, the staff came quickly to clean it, though wasn’t properly cleaned. The pool’s metal railing steps were moldy. The resort is big with beautiful landscapes. but sadly not properly maintained, not well kept. One can see debris and fallen leaves which were there for many days unattended. They seem to be lacked of staff to do the cleaning or at else, sweep it. It sad to see such beautiful resort to end up like tis.

1 박당 비싼 쪽에서는 조금 있지만, 나의 fmly와 나는 The Colony에서 2 박 숙박을 전반적으로 즐겼습니다. 나는이 장소가 얼마나 깨끗하고 새로운 지 즐겁게 놀랐다. 약 5 년 동안 문을 열었지만 전혀 떨어 뜨리지 않습니다. 매우 잘 유지되어 매우 편안하게 머물 수있었습니다. 우리는이 장소 전체가 얼마나 산업적이고 현대적인 지 좋아합니다. 욕실의 수압이 좋았고, 침대 린넨이 깨끗하고, 편의 시설이 잘 보충되었으며, 수영장은 다소 작지만 깨끗하고 아이들을 행복하게 유지할만큼 괜찮은 곳이었습니다. 한 가지 이상한 점은 우리가 2019 년 녹차 주머니를 받았지만 이미 2022 년이라고 말했습니다. 접수 원은 만료 날짜가 아니라 실제로 제조 날짜라고 말했지만 위험을 감수하고 싶지 않았기 때문에 소비하지 않았습니다. 그리고 주어진 비누와 샴푸의 양은 아마도 작은 슬림 병에서 너무 작았습니다. 우리 샤워 후 욕실은 약간 막혔다. 그러나 다른 모든 것은 괜찮 았고 멋졌다. 다른 방에서 시끄러운 방해가 없었기 때문에 방음은 괜찮 았을 것입니다. 그래서 우리는 끊임없이 잠을 잤습니다. 이 게스트 하우스에는 총 8 개의 객실이있는 2 개의 층이 있습니다. 상단 4와 하단 4. 모든 엄지 손가락을 올리고 기회가 주어지고 다시 쿠안탄으로 여행해야한다면 우리는 여기에 머물러서 기쁠 것입니다.

It was a bit of disappointment, the sleeping arrangements actually cannot accommodate for 6 adults, as the sofa bed was not stable and strong enough to hold 2 adult weight. The 2 queen size beds was placed side by side but there was not the same height, so can't to have one more person to sleep on. So it should not advertise can accommodate for 6 pax. Toothbrush, toothpaste was not provided and we have to go and buy.

Room size is acceptable, location is excellent right next to the Kuantan Esplanade, very close to Menara 188 and popular eateries. Ample parking except when there are events ongoing at the hotel. Staff are friendly but the breakfast spread is so-so. Room has a balcony with a wonderful view of the Kuantan River but strong winds may cause eerie howlings. The only drawback is the irregular hot water supply. Overall, a satisfactory stay.
