We stayed here for one night just to explore the area. This hotel had a 5% discount if you booked direct and it was very reasonably priced in the first place. The view from room 10 is fabulous as it looks put over the bay. The bed is super king sized, immaculately clean and soooo comfortable and the shower and bathroom were also spotless. There's a large TV, free WiFi, a fridge (genius) and lots of tea and coffee goodies. We slept like logs and enjoyed all the facilities and the staff were lovely too. Kerswell doesn't do breakfasts which suited us. The extra we've paid for breakfasts in the past wasn't worth it and there are lots of lovely cafes nearby anyway. We couldn't fault this place and would highly recommend it if you're in the area. We've stayed at literally hundreds of hotels and b&bs and in its class, it is up there with the best of them.

Beautiful iconic building badly needing updated. Exterior needs a repaint and interior reminded me of an upmarket Wetherspoons. Reception area very odd with receptionist trying to run the bar as well. If you want to attract more upmarket business then guests need a proper welcome. The idea of ordering every course at the bar is what u expect in a pub. En suite arrangement was quirky and a bit awkward. Not sure about it. Sun terrace windows were filthy and the smell of chips cooking really spoiled it for me. Overall disappointing experience!

Popped in for breakfast - best breakfast ever and the whole family loved it including the children - service was fast and polite and the atmosphere and surroundings were spotless and very comfortable. We felt like we mattered and the breakfast was all served at the same time, fresh and hot.

리리뷰어This hotel is one of Morecambe's little secrets. It’s not anything special, it’s just a great place to stay. Not fussy, but it’s clean comfortable and friendly. The views front the sea front rooms are fantastic. Imagine waking up to Morecambe Bay and a backdrop of the Lake District. On your doorstep is probably the best promenade in the Northwest. Breakfast is freshly cooked to order with a selection of cereals and toast. Okay its location in the West End of Morecambe is not perfect, but it’s only a short distance to cafes and restaurants, and the Eden Project will only be a ‘stones throw away’.

The hotel is located close to the water's edge, just across a busy main road. The reception staff were friendly when taking the reservation but charged an additional £50 as a deposit for any room charges—a detail not mentioned during the booking process. Be sure to speak with reception before you leave to ensure that this deposit is refunded. From my research, it seems the hotel is slow to return deposits, but if it takes longer than 5-7 days, your bank can assist with the issue. Our room had a decent view, but being on the ground floor and at the front of the hotel, it was quite noisy with traffic and pedestrians passing by. At first glance, the room appeared nice—clean and tidy—but the bathroom layout was awkward. Despite having ample space, the bath was small, and the toilet was crammed into one corner. The bathroom could benefit from an update, such as replacing the bath with a walk-in shower. There was no hot water on our first night, only tepid, making it impossible to take a comfortable shower or bath. The shower itself was disappointing, with weak water pressure and no option to adjust the spray due to the poor design of the mixer tap. When we informed reception about the lack of hot water, they claimed no other guests had complained. Although they did contact the manager and attempted to get a plumber, they blamed the difficulty on the bank holiday weekend, which seemed more like an excuse. The bathroom lacked a heated towel rail, so wet towels didn’t dry properly. The provided toilet paper was extremely thin and not very durable—I recommend bringing your own. Only two rolls were supplied, and they were of very poor quality. The room didn’t have air conditioning or a heater. There was a single radiator near the door, but it didn’t work. We noticed a tall electric device, but it turned out to be just a cold air blower. The room felt chilly, and while it’s still summer, I imagine it would be even colder in autumn. There was also no safe in the room, so if you have valuables, you'll need to take them with you. The room had an outdoor seating area, which could have been a nice touch, but it was overshadowed by the constant noise from the busy road. There were no lights outside, so sitting there at night meant sitting in the dark. Privacy was also an issue, as people from the restaurant above would come down to smoke near the seating area. I wouldn’t want to sit and have a drink with people smoking and standing close by. This area would be even less appealing in colder weather, and I doubt many would want to sit there with the traffic noise. Breakfast was decent, with a full English offering, although the black pudding was subpar. The staff were polite but seemed indifferent, making their service less welcoming than it should have been. Overall, I found this hotel to be well below expectations. It was the cheapest option during the bank holiday, and it’s true that you get what you pay for. Would I recommend this hotel?
