The hotel is located in Nakamachi street where there are a lot of historical buildings. It is one of the most popular area in Matsumoto. There are a lot of restaurants, shops nearby. Nunoya building is so classic and cool. I was astonished by external view. After you stepped in the building, it is so gorgeous. The room was very clean and comfortable with a Japanese atmosphere. Also I had a good sleep on the futon. On the 1st floor, there is a lounge space. You can have some drinks before you go out for a dinner. I enjoyed a chat with other guests. This is one of the best Ryokan I would recommend in Matsumoto
