Nice and protected beach holiday if you want to send your youngsters away for a holiday. Guest house is very well suited, and the staff and owners are amazing. The beach and water world and activities are very close.

The location suited my purpose, since I had survey work to do at two nearby Voorbaai properties, as well as in Hartenbos. What was available in the room was rather basic, but not an issue. The hostess did bring some milk on request and called it fresh milk - but to my surprise it was long life milk, a type of milk that tastes bad and affects the taste of the coffee. Discussed that R75 for two slices of toast plus scrambled eggs in the morning is exorbitant, but a more reasonable price was not processed on request - instead the breakfast was given complimentary. I did not bother about breakfast on the second morning. Wherever I stay the breakfast is normally included in the cost of the stay. This guest house is an exception.
