Excellent accommodations, breakfast food and most of all our host, Michele. It's not the traditional hotel with a front desk. It's more of an Air BnB or VRBO with multiple apartments. You have to contact the host prior to arrival to let you in and show you the access codes which is very nice, since it allows more privacy and security. Our studio had a mini kitchen, comfortable bed, TV, and a patio plus a covered patio and hot tub. The free breakfast area was a few steps from our room with a covered outdoor patio. Nice buffet spread and custom order breakfast as well. The beach is only a 5 minute walk away and the shopping, restaurants, train station are all within walking distance. The ever-present breeze from the Adriatic is wonderful. Michele as well as the staff went out of their way to make sure we were happy. We were. Thanks, Michele.

I have stayed at many facilities similar to Idillio around the world. None have come close to this place. This is beyond a 5 Star facility. It exceeded every expectation one could have. In fact when you book Idillio, your not booking a room, you are booking an "experience" of exquisite service, great food, incredibly clean suite, over the top attention to detail. The people behind the success of Idillio are 7 star! I cannot say enough good things about this place. Absolutely loved it and highly recommend it.

Room was very clean and classy. Beach beds and pool area were also very nice. Locations was close to the beach. Breakfast was good. Michele and staff were Exceptionally hospitable. We felt that he truly wanted us to enjoy our stay. We highly recommend this place.

When we booked this stay we weren't exactly sure if this was a boutique hotel or a Bed and breakfast. We were surprised when we pulled up and even more surprised when we checked in. It really is indescribable. Michele, the owner , is passionate about hospitality. Our original introduction to the room showed his attention to detail and commitment to creating an exceptional experience for his guests. The decor is modern and welcoming. Every detail carefully planned...from the luxurious bedding, comfortable bed and pillows, to the lush towels and robes, velvet hangars, Flat screen TV's with cable access and bluetooth sound system, the iron and ironing board carefully tucked away, a safe for your valuables and much more. Then there were many surprises along the way. A welcome Prosecco and fruit platter in the refrigerator along with many beverages. This was stocked daily. A espresso maker in our room with fine Villeroy & Boch espresso cups and dishes. The breakfast had delicious breads, pastries, cheeses and meats, fruits, cereals and omelettes and eggs. The staff is extraordinary. Michele even surprised us with the finest gelato creations that we ate one evening on the terrace after dinner. It is clear that this is a labor of love for this very special man. His passion was contagious
