This is an exceptional hotel. We stayed for 4 nights in August 2024 and had the most wonderful experience during our stay. Every aspect of the hotel was well beyond our expectations. The quality of the facilities, the ambience of the environment and most of all the exceptional service from every member of staff was perfect. Nothing was ever any trouble and the staff attended to our every request, in the most friendly way possible. The hotel is very classy, most elegant and a charming environment to spend your holiday. We highly recommend the Boutique Hotel Stresa for a thoroughly relaxing and enjoyable stay.

the positive: - The staff is very friendly and helpful. Most particularly Adi, he was incredibly warm and gave us much advice. Having people like this in a hotel really makes a huge difference in the experience - The beds were very comfortable and the shower head was very nice. - The little balcony had a wonderful view of the lake - The breakfast was excellent, very fresh and varied. Bonus points to the scrambled eggs. I do not know what is inside, but it was divine. to improve: - The shower did not drain very well, but that can be easily fixed - The gym was not really working, but we were told there were plans to expand the whole section

We just returned from our trip to Lake Maggiore where we stayed at the Grand Hotel Majestic at the end of our Viking Cruise. The hotel was wonderful as were the amazing staff. A big shout out to Marianna who was so helpful in arranging a private boat with Pierre and making dinner reservations for our group of 5. We all absolutely loved the hotel and the whole area which was non touristy, quiet and peaceful. The veranda was so nice at the end of the day . We cannot wait to return.

The hotel property is located on the lake side just outside Stresa in Baveno. This is a big plus for the hotel since it has a decent size flat manmade beach with loungers and a private dock to swim off. Also there is no road noise since the hotel blocks it and the balconies have stupendous unobstructed views. The hotel wasn’t busy so we enjoyed our balcony without any neighbors on adjacent balconies (so no outdoor smokers phew). The room and bath were comfortably sized. However, the decor is Tony Sopranos over the top. The food we ordered from room service was acceptable, like a solid B-. Air conditioning is controlled by the main desk and our room didn’t get cool enough so neither of us had a good night’s sleep. The pool area is set aside with loungers on the lawn separated by a hedge. And we were told at our room rate, we’d have to pay 12 euros each to use the gym.

Very enjoyable stay with garden and surrounds well maintained and manicured. Great views from our room and no issues with sleep comfort and functionality. Breakfast offering was average and was spread out in a large dining room. Coffee from the machine was not hot enough. High review rating offered due to the grandeur and lake frontage etc.

L'hôtel est face au lac, mais la plupart des chambres ont une vue sur la cour intérieure. IL n'y a pas de parking et presque toutes les places de parking proches sont payantes y compris le soir. Il y a qq restaus à proximité. La voiture est nécessaire pour aller dans le centre de Verbania et pour aller prendre le bateau. La sdb est très grande mais par contre la chambre n'est pas très spacieuse. Grand choix pour le pdj
