I stayed nine nights at SENTIDO Æquora Lanzarote Suites with my husband, our three children (ages 16, 14, and 8), my sister's family (including her children, ages 2 and 1), and our dad. We usually opt for all-inclusive stays in Playa de Los Pocillos annually but have never visited this hotel. We were assigned three junior suites: two on the ground floor near the splash pool and one on the first floor (18 steps up) for my elderly dad and son. I would rate this hotel three out of five stars. This review provides an honest account of our experience. Check-in Experience When we arrived at 8 pm, there was only one staff member at the front desk handling check-ins, so we had to wait in line. The lobby was impeccably clean, bright, and welcoming. The staff member was polite but distracted, frequently interrupted by phone calls and colleagues needing assistance. Soledad, his boss, intervened several times and seemed dissatisfied with his performance. At one point, he disappeared into the back office for over 5 minutes, disappointing after a long day of travelling. Overall, the check-in experience was not very welcoming, and we were underwhelmed when we finally reached our rooms. Room Quality The rooms were excellent—extremely spacious and perfect for our family. The beds were comfortable, and daily housekeeper service was available. At check-in, we could opt for less frequent housekeeper service if desired. Free Wi-Fi was available in all rooms. However, the air conditioning was not enormously powerful, and the room could have been cooler. I have experienced better air conditioning in other hotels. The room had two sleeping areas, ideal for giving our older son his space. The main downside was the communal open bathroom area, which offered no privacy for toilet use or showers. I had to ask my son to leave the room while showering since dressing had to happen in the open. While we managed, the lack of privacy in the bathroom would not be suitable for travelling with friends or children's friends. It was an unusual setup I had never encountered in a hotel. Customer Service The animation staff at the hotel were exceptional. They tirelessly provided entertainment from early morning until late evening. Our children thoroughly enjoyed the kid’s club and especially loved the mini disco. Enes, who ran the kid’s club, was fantastic. He went above and beyond to ensure all the children had a wonderful time. We are grateful for his efforts and the enjoyable experience he created for our kids. Sadly, the remaining staff significantly impacted my rating of this resort. The rudest staff I have encountered in all my years of travelling. No staff member stood out for their friendliness or effort to enhance our experience. Many were rude and diminished our experience. The resort's size affected the staff, making guests a low priority. Holiday Bliss! We absolutely loved this hotel from check in to departure. Very impressive entrance and reception staff was lovely friendly and informative. We found our room easily and what a surprise it was bright large and clean with a lovely side veiw of sea, the room had a kettle with tea coffee sugar etc a big bonus was plugs near mirrors and well lit to get ready, huge comfortable beds as well. The food was yummy no complaints and staff were friendly even though they were busy trying to make sure everyone had a clean set up table as could get busy. We were HB but chose to swap to lunch everyday as we like to explore at night. Pool area is spotless and pool was not to cold for time of year as temps hit 30 degrees. Shout out to the maids who worked so hard and my friendly gardener who I practised my Spanish on in the mornings. Perfectly located in between puerta del Carmen and matagorda. Will definitely return one of the nicest places we stayed.

Just returned from a fabulous 11 night holiday. We had a room with a side sea view lovely spacious room, walk in shower (rooms with a bath also available), mini fridge, microwave, safe (extra charge). Spacious terrace with 2 chairs, table and 2 sun loungers. Always loungers around the pool. The usual suspects reserving sun beds before 9.00 despite notices. Entertainment was good and lovely lounge area. Prices for drinks very reasonable 3.50 euros for a large beer (excellent beer). We were half board and the food was delicious plenty of choice and vegetarians well catered for. The staff were very friendly. Stand out was Renata on reception who arranged for our daughter who was staying for part of our holiday to have a room near ours. The hotel is closing in the spring for refurbishment and I hope the staff get some clarity soon on what will be happening to them when it closes as it is causing them some anxiety. It was really nice to see the staff really enjoying their jobs and hope they can return when the hotel reopens. The hotel is in fabulous location just near the beach and at the quiet end of the *****. We are planning to return next October.

Stayed here for the week and had an excellent time location is up cardiac hill but it’s not to bad it’s defo worth a visit staff r lovely rooms are very big and pool area is clean too.food is lovely with a great selection to choose from. And theirs a bar at the font of the apartment would defo recommend this place well worth it.

My goodness what a wonderful holiday we’ve had at this hotel. Nothing is too much trouble. We stayed all inclusive. Receptionist was friendly & welcoming explaining the layout of the hotel food times rules around the pool etc. Our room wasn’t quite ready and we headed off to the restaurant for lunch. Food here is fresh & plentiful. Regularly replaced. In the grill section they hv a glass area which displays the food being cooked. We always found something delicious to eat and I’d say even the fussiest of eaters would be happy. The bar area has plenty of seating which is waiter service. Pool area had plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas. There was some work being carried out in the wellness area but wasn’t intrusive and we had been forewarned. Pool towels are available from reception but beware of leaving your towel down before 9am and heading off to breakfast. Towels and belongings are collected off unmanned sunbeds. I think this is a marvellous idea. Drinks and snacks can be eaten around the pool area and there are bins to place empty glasses and rubbish Our room was delightful. Fresh and modern and we had the added bonus of being on the ground floor which lead out onto the pool area but is separated by hedging. Entertainment every evening which was fun. The entertainment team worked very hard as do all the staff. Highly recommended. We will be back

Second visit to this hotel and third one booked for next year. We stayed in the ‘Lanzarote” hotel as this is 2 hotels in one, had an amazing sea view apartment with 2 balconies, superb room. 4 pools and 2 are heated, aquatic aerobics and other games available every day. The food was really good for all inclusive, couldn’t fault it really, we had 10 days and didn’t feel that we got to that what are we going to eat stage, really enjoyed it all. The bit we love is the location, to the left of the hotel you can walk about 2 miles along the promenade, with the sea and beach all the way, to the old town, this has recently had a refurb and is lovely for walking/biking, you can walk right the way to the bottom of the airport runway and beyond. We didn’t go further than this but I think you can cycle the route right around to Arricife. If you come out of the hotel and go right you can walk another 2 miles or more all along the ‘*****’ where there are loads of bars, shops and restaurants, and beach areas, have had some lovely meals here, really lovely and great shops, walk right to the end 👍🏻 Also the buses are brilliant, a bus for 2, to Playa Blanca, stood right outside hotel, about 45 mins, €5.50 for 2 each way and roads are amazing,,, no potholes!! From the hotel you can also catch the bud straight to Teguise, same price for 2 and then back to Arricife where the only tall building on the island is, so easy and so much culture to see and enjoy, and as for the weather, they class January as their winter, well we had blue sky 8 days out of 10 and temperatures of 22-25” lovely and warm, but the evenings were quite cool, which was expected. The grounds are so clean and well looked after, and going across from the second hotel for meals was great for us as nice bit of exercise if having a pool day ☺️ Highly recommend ☺️

We been at this hotel on and off over the years and we were delighted to see all furniture has be up graded and the food selection this time was excellent with halfboard. The staff appeared very pleasant and happy. There are plenty of sunbeds available . Everything was very clean. Cleaning staff so friendly and work so hard. They couldn't do enough for us. Overall a very friendly atmosphere to the hotel and guests all appear to be enjoying themselves. Many who appear to return regularly. Location is wonderful with a fab sea view. Lovely walks in the area. The entertainment was mostly singing groups. We were there for 6 nights and only one night there was an act. It was a pity as we really enjoyed the entertainment in the past. The bar seating area is very comfortable and the staff very helpful. As returning guests we didn't have to pay for fridge or safe. That was appreciated 👏.
