We were at Glewstone Court yesterday to celebrate our friends Pete and Gaye's wedding. It was the most amazing day, the venue, food and service were all absolutely outstanding. It was made special by the superb team who worked so hard all day and all night, you really were fantastic. Thank you so much for looking after us and making Mr and Mrs B's day so wonderful 😊

Gastronomic delight! We enjoyed an amazing six course tasting menu in beautiful surroundings. You will not be disappointed. A warm welcome awaits and excellent service. We have been a few times previously and will be returning.

The staff were very friendly and engaging. Comprehensive wine list. I shared the chateaubriand with my friend and my other friend had the courgette flower, which was very attractive and, apparently, delicious. The beef was excellent and simply melted in the mouth, selection of wild mushrooms and good old proper chips. Custard tart for pudding.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Glewstone Court, one of the few hotels I’ve ever been sad to leave. My main reason for going out of my way to write this review was the service of Sam throughout the duration of our stay. I’ve worked in customer facing roles for 15 years and consider myself a decent judge of service offered. Sam’s was exemplary, amongst the best I’ve ever experienced. He seemed to constantly be on shift and despite this his helpful demeanour never faltered. Not a single request I made was denied, he’s a credit to the establishment. The hotel itself offered a relaxed and homely feel throughout our stay and we will without a doubt return in the near future.
