Sadly, we did not even get to stay as a rather unfriendly reception person cited us all of the council regulations re: parking a 8 to 9 m caravan, and then told us there were no sites available to fit out caravan. The park was aprox 25% full and it was a weekday out of school holidays. There were many sites open that we could have easily fitted on for only one night. In our travels over the years around Australia we have not often encountered unwelcoming personalities who are managing camp sites, but this was one. Guess the council does not care whether they have clients filling the sites here.

Our cabin (No 1) was away from the caravans, which are the principal visitors to the park, which was pleasant and quieter. The room was cosy but adequate. Had all the kitchen equipment needed. View of the river, close to shop and walk way to the beach. Only disappointment was internal door to shower/toilet was warped and didn't shut!! Would love to visit again!! Thank you
