I enjoyed my stay. The hotel is very modern and clean. The receptionists were very friendly. I particularly like the breakfast buffet, which offered many healthy and locally-source options. If your room faces the train tracks, which run right next to the hotel, that might be too loud for some people. I just chose to keep the window closed and I could sleep well.

We had a nice five day stay at the Focus hotel. We enjoyed the town, the hotel and the easy access to the train station. Other reviewers complained about the noise level of the rooms next to the train line. We did not find this to be a problem. For the first several days of our visit, with windows open, with wax earplugs, the noise level was fine. For the last few days, the weather got colder and we shut the windows and the sound from the trains was not a problem. Our room was very comfortable and the breakfast was enjoyable. The hotel staff that we encountered were all very helpful. We thought that Sursee was a very nice town and not nearly as touristy as Luzerne. We thought the Focus rooms were a great value when compared to the Luzerne hotels. Sursee is about 15-20 minutes by train from Luzerne.

Great location, near from the city center and just 4 minutes from the train station. Super clean and comfortable. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable about all aspects. I really enjoyed my first visit and I hope to come back again soon with my family.

High quality hotel, beautiful spacious room, well equiped. Try and book on the front road side not the rear which is adjacent to a train track which is noisy. Plenty of choice for breakfast and a very nice Thai restaurant attached. Staff very helpful, would stay again *****
