I took my wife after checking with the site which gave it rave reviews. so I got there some pointed me towards the house. it was run down, no glass in the door frame. The man opened the door there were 2 dogs jumping all over. He lead me into his living room. It was a mess. Man said he was having problems with his partner and looked like he was having a breakdown. The stairs was in the center of his living room which lead to 2 rooms. He opened the door to the left. The floor was uneven as was the bed which had balls of fluff on the covers. The room light was level with my head. He showed me bathroom 3 stairs lead down to the bath which was nice but the bath was at a angle to fit in the tight space and the toilet on the other side. There was no door to the toilet. The fridge didn’t work and had used milk cartoons in it. I couldn’t let my wife stay there. If we had stayed there, god knows what breakfast would have been like. It is by far the worst place I have seen, we were there for 5 minutes and left. I says its a farmhouse, its not its a B&B. I had to book in somewhere else because we came so far. I can’t help thinking the website did not reflect the room, especially for the price. I tried get a refund but the man refused. It was a lot of money I have lost.
