Xiaoling is very friendly and helped to pick our luggages and elders from the south entrance. He recommended another historical place for our dinner and also suggested plans to go nearby and tour around Hongcun. He also kindly offered to deliver our luggage to the carpark when we hired a car to Huangshan. Location of this historical residence is at the head of the cow. He offered us upgrade of rooms but we require more bed. The rooms are clean and the place is historical. You may want to get better rooms during winter. Overall a good memorable stay for its history and service. Foreigners friendly!

Amazing historical house. The Aunty who cooked for us made delicious local food and she was very welcoming too. Location is perfect - very accessible yet tucked away offering serenity.

這才是真正意義上的民宿，明代老宅，幾經易主，一石一瓦，一草一木都在訴説著它的故事，網上有説它是乾隆時期兩江總督的汪日章的住所，屋裡還有太平天國駐地試刀柱，不免讓人好奇它的歷史，老房子雖然設施有點舊，但還是能看出當初設計時的用心，老闆很熱心，有求必應，非常棒的一次體驗
