We got a VERY Small room, was told it was $58.71, Told the guy at the Front Desk we had a SERVICE Dog, he said that's fine there is no charge for the Dog, we got up early and left we had to get back on the road, here it is 7 months later and i am checking our checking account my husband was buying some parts for my Corvette, and there is a Charge From Anchor Bay Inn for #159.71 FOR 1 NIGHT!! I called them and was told it was the CC Machine that Glitched and did not charge us for the night, and they were just now getting all the charges figured out, so i called my bank and they looked back in my account and YES Sept 28 th 2022 there was a charge that was paid for $159.71 !!! Soooo i Called them back and told them i have proof that they already got there money in Sept, and the guy at the front desk told me they were in the process for REFUNDING My Money, This morning i get up and there is ANOTHER Charge for the same amount and they got it, so i filed a charge with my bank!! PLEASE DO NOT PAY FOR HOTELS WITH CREDIT CARD!!!! PAY WITH CASH!!!!

Tired old hotel room. Brown carpet, brown shower surround, old and worn brown furniture. Older TV and no channel guide. Yes there was a mini fridge and microwave but other than that not much. Minimal breakfast with artificial scrambled eggs and bacon, muffins, bread for toast etc. I was trying very hard to like Best Western again but after staying at the Reedsport location I’ll look to other more modern hotel chains in the future.
