i recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful resort, and it was an incredibly relaxing experience. the ambience inside the property is truly pleasing and serene, with a nature-friendly vibe that immediately puts you at ease. the rooms were well-maintained, spacious, and provided a perfect balance of comfort and style. one of the highlights of the resort is definitely the pool—it’s stunning and adds so much to the overall experience. if you’re visiting, i highly recommend opting for the pool-view villas; they offer an unbeatable view and atmosphere. the food was delicious, with a wide variety of options, although slightly on the pricey side. that said, the quality more than made up for it. lastly, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. overall, a wonderful place for a peaceful getaway!

My husband and I had a great experience with Niraamaya Kovalam Resort in February 2023 and so decided to try their Kumarakom location this year. We weren’t disappointed, and found the same beautiful surroundings, personalized service and comfortable accommodations as on our previous experience. Our private lake-view villa with small pool was the perfect getaway from India’s large, crowded cities. I enjoyed the Ayurveda massages on a near-daily basis, while my husband appreciated the range of western and Indian dishes in the restaurant. We’d like to give a special shoutout to Prasanna, Restaurant Supervisor, and Habilash, Housekeeping Supervisor, both of whom contributed greatly to making our stay comfortable. Although relaxing and enjoying the tranquil beauty of Kumarakom was our main purpose, we were also able to visit the centuries-old Hindu temples of Ettumanoor and Vaikom within a short drive of an hour or less, and take a leisurely boat trip to sites located on Lake Vembanad. We will definitely be back to Kerala and look forward to visiting Niraamaya’s other locations.
