We stayed one night after a late ferry crossing. Close to the port so it was very convenient as only a short drive. Clean and comfortable, just what we needed and a fair price. We had a nice beer on arrival. The breakfast buffet was fine but similar to another review the scrambled eggs ran out early!

I spent a night at the Logis Hotel Cottage on 23 April 2024 before my Eurotunnel journey from Calais to Folkestone. After a long and tiring drive on several autoroutes from Bordeaux in the Southwest of France, I received a warm welcome from Madame Mandy Caudrillier, the receptionist on duty, who quickly checked me into my room, which was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Customer service was also very good in the bar and restaurant where I enjoyed one of the three daily items on the Table d'Hote menu - a delicious casserole along with some very nice red wine. For the price that I paid, and especially the hotel's close location to the Eurotunnel check-in, I was more than satisfied with the Logis Hotel Cottage.

Made a booking to stay here for the night as ferries were cancelled due to storms and we have already been in the car for seven hours (driving through awful weather) - we needed a bed to sleep in! This hotel had availability for a very reasonable price. The decor of the interior of the hotel was old fashioned (but I like hotels with character like that!), the attendant on reception was friendly and efficient. parking was available directly outside of the hotel. We did not take the breakfast offer. The rooms were very clean, the double room was refurbished and so was modern with a nice en-suite. bed was comfy. I would happily stay here again.

We needed a hotel close to the motorway, not too expensive for an overnight stop and this fitted the bill perfectly. The hotel had ample parking and as we arrived late used the self service check in. The room was of a good size and clean. Breakfast was included with out booking, it had a nice choice and the member of staff checked we had everything we needed. Excellent value.

Dans une jolie maison, une chambre décorée avec soin, avec une mention pour la salle de bains. Bon accueil, la propriétaire fournit plein d'informations sur la ville et les environs. Très bon petit déjeuner servi autour d'une grande table. Facile de trouver une place de parking dans les rues avoisinantes, tout du moins en week-end.

The room was very much as I have experienced and expected in the past 30 years. Simple, straightforward and adequate for our single overnight stay. However, I was not prepared for anything other than a basic French breakfast and was totally gobsmacked by the simply superb breakfast buffet that we walked in to on the Sunday morning. It was, in my opinion, quite magnificent for a cold breakfast buffet. Having had a hotel garni for nine years in Hamburg, Germany, myself I am fully aware of the effort that goes into putting on such a stunningly attractive buffet. Everything looked and was as fresh as it could be and at €25.80 for two, really good value for money. Congratulations and thank you for giving us a wonderful start to the long journey ahead of us. We are certainly looking forward to the next visit!
