Booked what I thought was a nice, spacious apartment for 6 people through booking.com. It was clearly advertised with bedroom with double beds and additional sleeping spaces including folding sofa beds. Great pics of double beds, view and balcony. On arrival our ‘great’ apartment was a small single room with a double bed in the middle of the living room, another bed on a mezzanine and 2 air mattress squeezed between beds and windows. No view, no balcony. On confronting the management, they claimed to never had this problem before and argued that the info on booking.com was factual. They bluntly refused any refund or alternative apartment and referred us back to booking.com. It was so bad that we simply walked out the same day, even without another place to stay! Booking.com was utterly useless, coming back with the message that they ‘advised’ the company to refund but that they were not willing to do so. There was nothing they could do…. Great customer service 😖 People, one advice: Deal with people you can trust, if you want a great time in Miami don’t use booking.com and certainly stay away from Girasole Design Suites.
