Our week long Sonder stay was easy and pleasant. The room we rented was a studio. It was very clean when we arrived. The until had a full kitchen and there were plenty of dishes, utensils, pots and pans. Getting fresh sheets and towels was easy, self service. I really appreciated the laundry rooms in the building. A full kitchen was awesome to have available. We were able to do a run to a grocery and save time by preparing dishes there instead of traveling to find food for multiple meals. This probably saved us a ton of money as well. I am easy to please so for those of you who are not, here are things to be aware of. - At night, there is no one in the lobby. Make sure you have your pass code ready to go BEFORE you arrive, especially if you are checking in late. The support team is very responsive, even late at night but you will likely be making these messages or chats from outside if you don't have the pass codes. Entering the building and room is easier and faster if you key in your code manually instead of using the app. I passed a dozen people throughout the week trying to use the app to enter. The AC is really noisy. This doesn't bother me but if noise bothers you, you will probably find earplugs and a white noise machine in a drawer. The wifi on the 6th floor is absolutely awful. Maintaining a connection on the TV or other wifi connected devices truly ****** and this is my only personal complaint. Use your data hotspot if you can to get around it. I would happily stay at a Sonder location again.

Booking the stay at AKA White House was a GREAT decision. it is 2 blocks away from the White House. My first day I easily walked to all the monuments and took a scooter down to the Capital. Check in was a breeze and Miles was so friendly and helpful as it was my first time in DC. HOLY COW was the suite amazing, CLEAN, and perfectly decorated and full of amenities. Janae at the front desk greeted me with a smile each time I came back in and the entryway smelled fantastic. It was a nice reprieve from the hustle and bustle of the sidewalks outside. Did I mention the whole place was CLEAN? Highly recommend the AKA White House, whether it is a short or long stay.

My son had an exam in DC and I booked this hotel for him. I was fully transparent that it was for him. On arrival, they would not check him in since he was not 21 yet. They claimed that ”no hotel in the world will check in somebody under 21”. Yeah, right.... The would have let him sleep on a bench and did nothing to help resolve the issue that was their mistake. There is not even a mention on the confirmation about this, it is somewhere in their invisible terms of service. I can only express my deepest contempt for this place and would suggest you stay somewhere else. Luckily Marriott Bonvoy came through and got him a room at the Mayflower next door for the same price. This is a Marriott property too and did not have any such problems but welcomed my son and provided a memorable stay. In the end, people make a difference.

Fantastic Accommodations First of all, Mr. Justin Spriggs, Director (Front Office) was just amazing and beyond this world exceptional. His staff were phenomenal including Ellis, Jerome, Betty, Manny, and Ayu to name a few. They were on point with attention to detail and professionalism and I cannot say enough!!! Friendly and helpful were the order of the day. The property was lovely and pristine. The staff were super attentive. The room was lovely and thanks to Mr. Spriggs we got to experience the best of what the property had to offer. The restaurant has a really chic vibe and the food was great. The location was fantastic especially as it pertained to our planned itinerary and also it was right by the Foggy Bottom Metro and GWU Hospital for convenience. The pricing for the week we went was great and I couldn’t ask for more. I really loved the opportunity to be able to enjoy a private cinema movie viewing as well. One last thing…Justin pays such attention to detail that he welcomed me and had gone to the effort of even welcoming me back to DC already knowing that I was Mrs. DC International (2018). 地下鉄に近いのが良いです！（徒歩約２分） 住民と共同のアパートメントタイプです。生活に必要なものはすべて揃っているので長期滞在者には良いと思います。 受付に担当者が常駐していますので、通常のホテル同様、荷物を預かっていただけるのもGoodです。 受付のMickyさんは明るい方で、すぐ名前を覚えてくれ入出時に名前で呼んでくれました。アメリカに来たって感じでした。
