환상적인 호텔입니다. 공항에서 차로 약 10분 거리에 있으며 파로의 기차역과 버스 정류장에서 멀지 않은 곳에 있습니다. 파로의 구시가지, 상점(모퉁이에서 약 3분 거리에 Spar 매장이 있습니다), 마리나, 기타 편의 시설은 도보로 약 10분 거리에 있습니다. 호텔에서 20m 이내에 레스토랑(Adega Nova)이 있으며, 매우 저렴한 가격으로 훌륭하고 다양한 메뉴를 제공합니다. 호텔 자체는 정말 좋고, 리셉션 직원은 여러 언어(적어도 영어, 포르투갈어, 스페인어)를 구사하며, 예를 들어 택시를 불러주는 등 기꺼이 도와드립니다. 리셉션 구역 바로 옆에 있는 작은 아침 식사실에서 무료 커피와 핫 초콜릿을 제공합니다. 아침 식사는 제공하지만 우리는 이용하지 않았으므로 조식에 대해서는 말씀드릴 수 없습니다. 객실은 넓고 편의 시설(식기 세척기, 냉장고, 주전자, 스토브, 에어컨, 칼 붙이 및 도자기 등)이 충분하며, 침대는 세상에서 가장 편안했습니다. 작은 발코니도 있었습니다. 전반적으로 훌륭한 숙박 시설이었습니다. 다시 방문하고 싶고, 누구에게나 추천하고 싶습니다.

We stayed a week at the end of August at Jardim du Vau. The hotel is perhaps a bit tired in appearance although our room was fine. The block we were in however had the air conditioning unit sited on the balcony, which meant that you could not sit outside if you wanted to keep the rooms cool. The receptionists were all helpful although a bit of customer training would not go amiss when stuck on a phone call. On a number of occasions the receptionist was on the phone whilst guests waited. An acknowledgement that you were waiting and would be attended to shortly would be a professional touch. The restaurant and bars were, I think, franchised out and it was a mixed bag. Some of the staff (Daniel particularly) were excellent but a couple, if they smiled during the week then we missed it! The outside bar didn't open until lunchtime, a bit strange and a lost opportunity, but it's food was good. The restaurant/ cocktail bar was a different issue. There was no air-conditioning so not a comfortable environment. It did not encourage you to stay and have a drink. One evening at 2215 we asked for a cocktail but was told it was too late, even though closing time was 2300 The restaurant's organisation left a lot to be desired. The two coffee machines, when working, were incredibly slow as was the toaster. The hot breakfast was served in bain-marie's but frequently it took an age to be replenished. One morning there was a 20min wait for a scrabbled egg refill. At least it gave the toast a chance to brown! One evening we decided to try the buffet. What a disaster - the lasagne and fish had gone, leaving only the remnants of a very nice stroganoff. Some replacement dishes did finally arrive, a deep fried fish of fish cake consistency and a chicken offering along similar lines. Not impressive and didn’t bother again. Overall the hotel is a curates egg, some good bits and some not so good!

The apartment and complex are very pretty and always clean. The food in the restaurant is well priced and excellent quality. However, I would particularly like to thank all your staff from the maids to the receptionists and the restaurants and bar staff. They are all very helpful and very polite and are a credit to your apartments. We would like to thank Ines as she tried to deal with a slightly distressing problem. You may be aware that in the garden area outside room 211 there is an injured seagull. It cannot fly and was killing the smaller birds for food (which was not pleasant to see and hear – I couldn’t sit out on the balcony), it was also distressing to see the seagull struggle for food and water. Ines tried to get the relevant authority to come and collect the bird but they hadn’t turned up when we left. Of course, now with the terrible wildfires they will be even more stretched. I wanted to ask the management if they could look at this situation and try to resolve it , even if it means paying for a vet to attend and take of the seagull. Great place to stay between the old and new town. Our one bedroom apartment and the hotel in general were spotlessly clean. Pool area was lovely with plenty of sunbeds. The staff were friendly and polite. Drinks and food very reasonably priced.

Visited on the 23rd July for a week with my partner and 3 year old daughter. The staff at the reception were amazing, the apartments big enough very comfy beds big bathroom , two balconies , air conditioning in bedroom and sitting room which was badly needed as it was very hot, indoor pool and outdoor pools. 24/7 shop and this lovely lady that was Serving such a kind person. Wish I known her name so I would mention her on here. There’s a lot of young people even tho I’m only 32 but this holiday was a family holiday so we weren’t into partying etc , the noise level of people screaming at 5am was out of order ( I know it’s not a hotel fault) thankfully my daughter sleeps thru any loud noise. If your children not sleeping well I wouldn’t go there. NO OFFENCE! - the lifts they need improvement very slow and very little space. - the oven ( I will post a picture) was just beside the door which has the bin in it, but that’s not a problem, the problem was that I couldn’t open the oven because of the door. - the shower not working properly , and would leak the whole time - the toilet water kept making noises 24/7 - the ladies that were cleaning our rooms seemed to be in and out. The only thing they were doing was giving us new towels , changed bedsheets and change bins, they didint hoover the rooms , didint leave extra shampoos. I had to sweep the floor all the time. - the bar was ok I suppose , pity they close the food bar so early and all we could order was pizza for 12€ and unfortunately it’s a frozen pizza which wasn’t great at all. I know I can order take away but would be nice to have good food in place Iam staying. - wish there was a kids club as there was a lot of families in there Maybe one day management will decide to upgrade the apartments. Anyways in overall to me the most important was that my family have good fun, nice and comfy bedrooms and to have good staff. And that’s what we’ve got. Iam seriously satisfied with the staff being so amazing and kind. Thank you so much

Had a fantastic week long stay at this lovely hotel over the Scottish October week. The staff are lovely and friendly, they were happy to help us with things like booking the Zoomarine and booking a taxi - we only got a taxi instead of walking the 10 minute short walk into the Old Town every night due to one of our party having an ankle injury. The hotel was also spotless, a little old fashioned in the room interior but in a classy sort of way. We had a street view room on level 0 and having read other reviews I was worried about the street noise but it was minimal to nothing each night. The cleaning staff were also friendly, and were constantly seen cleaning everywhere. The pool area was stunning, the snack bar was also so good and offered a great variety of choice. We were also there for a big birthday and the staff dropped off a bottle of bubbly for the occasion without being asked which made the day even more special. I could not fault this hotel and having stayed in Albufeira a few times before, this is by far the best hotel I have stayed at and cannot wait to return some time in the future!

Returned from my holiday on Sunday ! I just like to say how much of a fantastic chilled holiday I had ! And the reviews that people have left are not what I saw ! The apartments don’t have the wow factor but were clean and tidy and we had been upgraded when arriving to an apartment we only paid for studio ! It was huge ! Bed was comfy and everything needed was there ! Wasn’t too loud and there was mixture of ages there seeing so close the ***** couldn’t hear it at all ! I loved my holiday and my birthday when I was out there even though it rained on my birthday ! I had a fantastic holiday and will definitely visit again ! Oh and the indoor swimming pool was lovely too ! Every thing was fantastic ! Thanks again for a lovely stay ! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

When me and my twin brother were staying in Albufeira we stayed in the Luna Hotel Da Oura on R.de Dunfermline.This hotel is only a short walk away from the main ***** were there are many pubs/bars and restaurants and a fifteen minute walk to Albufeira's old town. The hotel has a nice reception area and a superb outside swimming pool and there's an indoor pool.The room we had (336) was clean and spacious (a little dated) but very well presented.The bed's were brilliant and the rooms cleaned everyday.The breakfast was varied and filling and the staff were 1st rate. A superb hotel in a superb area of this very lively resort and on our next visit to here we will stay in this fantastic hotel again.(This is my first review of the Luna Hotel Da Oura).

Staff were polite and friendly. Room was clean on arrival however, It all went down hill after that. Room was not cleaned for the entire 7days. You have to request toilet rolls, clean towels, hangers, irons and clean bed linen from reception. You have to empty your own bins so rubbish bags are left outside causing a terrible stench. Ants infestation with trails in every room in the apartment. I guess for short periods like a few days you will be comfortable but for longer stays I would recommend looking for somewhere else.

The outdated apartments are disappointing. Old furniture. Old kitchen appliances and not enough electricity plugs. No wi-fi available for free. They give you the option to use the one from a nearby restaurant. Too expensive for the experience.

This was our second stay at The Pelican. It has a lot going for it but a couple of minor issues. The location was great for us, a 15 minute walk to Alvor, under 10 minutes to the Pingo supermarket and 5 minutes from The Jolly (a pub we made our own and knew the owner from last year). The reception and bar staff in Pelican were excellent and very friendly. The food in the bar was good and reasonably priced. The room was the same as last year and an excellent size, a TV you can swivel round to watch in bed and an excellent little kitchen with everything we needed. Our issues were with the quality of the daily cleaning, it was poor. The floor wasn't mopped and our feet ended up filthy (which then gets transferred to the bed) or in my case had white socks that were black underneath. There was a general lack of care which was a real shame as the main areas of the hotel were constantly cleaned. Also our bin under the sink wasn't emptied at least 3 times and we took to leaving the rubbish bag out to ensure it was taken. This year there was entertainment from 5 until 7 one evening on the terrace, this was well received and maybe the management should do more of this in future. The hotel WiFi was patchy at best and our phones kept being disconnected. The pool area is pretty good but could do with a bit of TLC, too often we struggled to get a lounger while others were ”reserved” by people who never returned for 2 to 3 hours. A few more loungers wouldn't go amiss or a regular check to remove towels when the loungers aren't used for long periods. We will definitely return if the standard of cleaning improves as this is an excellent hotel with bags of potential and friendly staff.

Apartments are large and perfect for families especially with fully equipped kitchen. However, bedding was supposed to be changed on day 4 of our stay but this didn’t happen in any of our 3 rooms. Where breakfast was very good with lots of choice, both lunch and dinner were very poor selection. I’ve been on lots of AI breaks and never had a problem with meal selection. However this hotels offerings were very poor. Our group of 9 had 3 young children and 2 teenagers and the choice for kids was a watery bolognaise every night. Choice for adults wasn’t much better and meant we had to eat lunch and dinner out each night. An additional cost to our All inclusive holiday!! Nothing apart from pool for kids and definitely got the feeling that this hotel doesn’t like having kids staying. No floats or balls permitted at pool. Would return to the area but not this hotel. Food definitely let’s it down
