리츠칼튼 마사지 최고입니다~~가격은 조금 비싸도 엄청 만족했어요! 단지 메인수영장이 6월25일까지 공사중이라 이용하지 못한게 너무 아쉬웠습니다ㅜㅜ 전체적인 시설 및 직원들의 친절함에 만족하였고 다음에 꼭 다시 방문해서 수영장을 즐기고 싶네요!

Das Hotel liegt etwas abseits am Chaweng Beach was aber auch Ruhe bedeutet. Mit dem Taxi kommt man für ca. 6 Euro in die Stadt (hier unbedingt die ältere, super nette Dame gegenüber am Ausgang fragen. Ein besseres Taxi findet man nicht). Hotel ist mit Sicherheit nicht mehr das neueste, aber alles ist sehr gut gepflegt. In den Zimmern funktioniert alles und die Betten sind auch gut. Fitnessstudio ist sehr ordentlich für ein Hotel, das Frühstück und Abendessen sehr gut. Liegen sind sowohl am Pool, als auch am Meer ausreichend vorhanden. Der Strand gehört sicherlich zu einem der schönsten und ruhigsten in Ko Samui. Das Personal war auch super nett und freundlich! Sehr gerne beim nächsten mal wieder. The hotel is not directly at the main Chaweng Beach, which also means peace and quiet. You can take a taxi into the city for about 6 euros (definitely ask the older, super nice lady opposite at the exit. You won't find a better taxi). Hotel is certainly not the newest, but everything is very well maintained. Everything works in the rooms and the beds are good too. Gym is very decent for a hotel, breakfast and dinner very good. There are enough loungers by the pool and by the sea. The beach is certainly one of the most beautiful and quietest in Ko Samui. The staff was also super nice and friendly! Very happy next time again.

I read many reviews about this resort and studied the Mantra Samui website, but never learned until after I booked (4 nights stay) my room that they had cancelled , during Covid, the regular shuttle that took guests down the hill to Fisherman Villa. I learned this because I called the hotel before my trip to ask some questions and also ask how to reserve a place on their shuttle. The resort does have one auto/driver that will drive you down to the bottom of the hill if it is there, and if it is not picking up someone at the airport. The shuttle delivers you directly to the bottom of the hill, is pretty much is just a local road. Then you can wave down a taxi and negotiate the price. Some fun! The Mantra Sumai should update their website to say the regular shuttle has been cancelled, and replaced by their maybe available one car. Continuing my story... We booked a massage at another hotel that is about 20 minutes away, and gave ourselves one hour to get there. So the night before we reserved to get the ride down to the bottom of the hill for the next day afternoon. When we went to reception, we were informed there was an accident, which was a flat tire, and the tire 'might' be fixed in half an hour and then another 20 minutes to get back to the Mantra. They apparently felt no responsibility to contact us. Just wait for the guests to show up and then tell them. They felt no responsibility to call the driver for any update. They then offered to call a taxi, but that would take about 20 minutes to arrive. Also when you call a taxi there is no opportunity for negotiation. My hour was dwindling. Well 20 is better than maybe 30 + 20 minutes. So they called the taxi. Luckily the Mantra driver showed up after 15 minutes, and the taxi was cancelled. My conclusion, after all the interfaces with reception, is they have a poor sense of responsibility and lacking the ability for logical thinking to provide a good guest experience. There are other examples beyond the above. Our suite room was in good condition, and everything functioning. Well, except the phone did not work, but I did not need that. The suite has a king size bed and a separate built in bed in the back of the living room. OK, so 4 people can stay. But the flaw in the suites is there is only a 2 person love seat to sit on. There is no chair, and no desk. It is no fun to use your laptop when the coffee table level is below your knees. A simple 4 leg table for a desk, and a simple chair would be nice, and not cost very much. They do have an on-site co-work room somewhere, but I did not use it. I think it is an extra cost and I did not have that much work to do anyway. The highlight of the Mantra Samui was the included breakfast. There are many cooked to order choices plus a buffet of juices, fruits, cereals, yogurt, pastries, and several breads you can toast yourself. I nearly changed my holiday because of the negative reviews that i read here, however i was so pleased i didn't and went with my gut instinct. I have just returned from the most wonderful relaxing holiday at the Mai Samui beach resort. The hotel has been built in a traditional Thai style, on a quiet peninsular of Samui. So if you are looking for a glossy high rise concrete soulless block with entertainment and plenty of bars surrounding you, then this is not the place for you. There are a few local restaurants and a coffee shop only a few minutes walk away. With lively Bophut, with the Fisherman's market and Nathon are only a short taxi ride away (or free bus from hotel every day). The hotel has a variety of rooms to stay in, a couple of restaurants and a great beach bar with an extensive cocktail menu. The staff are all amazing, friendly and helpful. The hotel is currently having a few renovations but so has everyone else. Hotels and bars across the world have all suffered being locked down for several years due to Covid 19, and have only just re-opened, so yes they all need to do a bit of catch up. The renovations did not impact us in any way, and did not spoil our holiday one bit. I chose not to do all inclusive and opted for breakfast only. There was plenty of choice every morning. The egg chef was always busy with everyone's individual orders. One very small negative is the lack gluten free options or milk alternatives, but we worked around it. The beach is not your usual tropical lounging sandy spot. This is a very shallow tidal bay with some rocks and corals. It is great for a low tide walk, but not swimming. To make up for this the hotel has a couple of large well thought out swimming pools. and there is a raised sandy area to the front of the beach with plenty of sunbeds and chairs to lounge on. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel if you prefer a quite resort but with easy access to livelier towns. If i have the chance i would definitely come back again. We stayed for 10 days and had booked with Luxury Escapes so had numerous extras included in our booking. It is a very clean resort with staff that always try to please and are very friendly. We suggested to put up more no smoking signs around the pool and this was acted upon. Wee is a very friendly Manager and always approachable. The resort is very close to central town and on the beach front.

We stayed for 10 days and had booked with Luxury Escapes so had numerous extras included in our booking. It is a very clean resort with staff that always try to please and are very friendly. We suggested to put up more no smoking signs around the pool and this was acted upon. Wee is a very friendly Manager and always approachable. The resort is very close to central town and on the beach front.

Отель находится немного в отдалении от цивилизации. К этому нужно быть готовым. Ближайший 7 eleven - в 20 минутах ходьбы. Для нас это не было проблемой . Мы останавливались на 2 дня и полностью провели их в отеле. Не хотелось никуда выходить. На первый взгляд все кажется немного устаревшим, но на территории такая классная релаксовая атмосфера, что через 5 мин об этом забываешь. Мы жили на чудесной Вилле с бассейном и видом на закат прям с балкона. Были включены завтраки и ужины. Еда была божественная. Персонал очень внимательный. Все знают на какой ты вилле живешь, какой кофе ты любишь и т.д. Это очень удивительно было. У отеля прекрасный пляж - правда во второй половине дня, т.к. в первой половине из за прилива - пляж уходит под воду. Но во второй половине дня он открывается и там очень классно гулять . Места очень живописные.
