Alla Marina, Riomaggiore. What can I say. This place was a dream. The city was a dream. The owners were incredible. They met us at the train. They gave excellent referrals for restaurants and the sunset boat cruise we did, which was probably the coolest thing we did anywhere and that’s saying A LOT. The owners family started building the villa in 1252. And they explained the history of the stairs behind all the villas were built so people could flee from the Saracen’s. So, yeah, wow!!! The room was lovely and right on the marina. The sounds out the window were amazing and just immersive in the culture. So cool. The view out both rooms was fantastic. The Villa was perfectly located with quick access to town a the marina. Your thoughts about stairs there were right on. Everywhere you go there are hills and stairs. There are no vehicle transport options really, but the train is right in town and it’s very quick trip to La Spezia and Manarola. WE LOVED OUR TIME THERE, but people should know about the stairs and walking involved staying there. It was great for us - good weight loss plan to counteract the pasta😂

Le 5 Terre La Spezia is a perfect place to stay while visiting Cinque Terre. It is a few minutes walk from the train station. The rooms are very comfortable and look just like the pictures. I stayed in the Monterosso room and it was bright and well appointed. It can be a little noisy because it is right beside the entry and reception desk but I would not change anything. The most special thing about this hotel is their reception. Erica is a pure delight. She is cheerful, engaging and extremely helpful with tips. Elletra was accommodating and full of good information. Both ladies are fantastic assets to this hotel. They made the stay at this place wonderful. Make sure you follow their advice. It will make your trip even better. Don't pay attention to the negative reviews. I am sure they did not stay here.

La camera in cui abbiamo alloggiato sì chiamava Badessa. Camera abbastanza spaziosa,con due letti matrimoniali, giusta per noi che abbiamo 3 bambini. La posizione della struttura è comoda per raggiungere l'acquario,due passi a piedi. A pochi passi anche la fermata della metro. Il personale è gentile. Ciò che purtroppo non va è la pulizia. Se gli altri non hanno mai detto niente ( come ci è stato puntualizzato) vuol dire che o sono stati fortunati oppure sono abituati in modo diverso da come lo siamo noi. La pulizia è la base, soprattutto quando si paga per alloggiare in una struttura. È inammissibile alzare le coperte e trovare peli e macchie ovunque. Quando abbiamo chiesto di cambiare le lenzuola, prontamente è stata accolta la richiesta. Al momento del cambio,ci siamo resi conto che il coprimaterasso era lurido. Perché ” le lenzuola vanno mandate in lavanderia,quello no”. Con più che evidenti macchie di pipì vecchie sicuramente. abbiamo fatto togliere anche quello. Il copriletto? L' abbiamo tolto noi perché ” attenzione a non rovinarli che di questi altri non ne abbiamo). Tradotto, è rimasto quello per tutti gli ospiti che sono passati. Nel mezzo della stanza un tappeto a moquette che mi faceva rabbrividire solo a guardarlo. L'idea della residenza storica ci sta,ma la stanza ha bisogno di evidenti aggiusti. Ma passi anche per il pannello nel bagno che cade, anche se attaccato con lo scotch, ma non che ti venga il disgusto anche di appoggiarti alla spalliera del letto. Nella sala colazione abbiamo dovuto, ad un certo punto, prendere l'iniziativa di coprire tutto con dei tovaglioli,perché una mosca volava di pietanza in pietanza. Anche qui,i copri sedia( bianchi) evidentemente macchiati Non si scherza su queste cose. La pulizia è la base. Il resto viene dopo.

Très bon hôtel, bien situé, personnel à l'écoute. L'hôtel est au cœur de ville, à 300 mètres de la mer et des parkings, mais très calme. Bon rapport qualité prix. Le petit lit parapluie pour bébé et la bouilloire en prime pour le biberon. Seul hic pour nous c'est le manque d'ascenseur pour la poussette et les bagages mais c'est un détail. Merci !

Fantastic location in La Spezia at 100m from the train to visit Cinqueterre. You can also book the private parking and the staff are very nice and give you plenty of information and recommendations. They even gave us an iron when we asked for it. The only con would be that our bathroom was little and you had to close the door in order to get to the washbasin.

I loved this stay a lot more then some of the hotels in my trip, felt nice having your own key to a building. The room really surprised me, it was really nice and also in such a good spot of la spezia. La spezia surprised me, I was nervous as it seemed a bit rough around the edges but honestly such a lovely stay with trendy bars in every alleyway, just got to explore the streets. 10 min walk to the station which is right on the main Cinque Terre line going to the towns, I was a pro by the end of my stay. I felt like this was the place I actually met other Italians as the cinque Terre can be super congested with tourists so I really recommend staying here instead of one of the 5 towns and making base doing day trips to the villages. The reception were really lovely and helped you try and understand the area before letting you go off to your apartment room. I didn't spend much time in the room but I slept really well and all the facilities worked and there was information in the hallway if needed about ferry times and spots to go to. La Spezia was also one of the more affordable parts of Italy I went to with some really good food and drinks.

L'affittacamere si trova a circa 100metri dalla stazione, posizione ottima per prendere il treno e visitare le cinque terre. Arrivati al portone, telefonicamente ci hanno fornito il codice per poter prendere le chiavi. La camera spaziosa e moderna. La pulizia ottima e il cambio asciugamani avviene giornalmente. Il checkout si fa sempre in autonomia lasciando le chiavi all'ingresso. Possibilità di parcheggiare nei pressi della struttura.

Perfect location, perfect for 2 people, memorable trip and happy to see the room we stayed in, on post cards! There's steep stairs but manageable to get up/down with luggage. Easy check in after hours. Kind of loud if people are drinking outside, but calming when you hear the water.

Ben tenuto, camere spaziose e con accesso sul giardino. La struttura è nuova e anche il bagno è spazioso con comoda doccia. All’arrivo vien chiesto se si preferisce la colazione dolce o salata e, senza pretendere troppo, si ha un buon servizio. Per noi è una tappa costante visto che passiamo di frequente da Santo Stefano. Posizione comoda in 10 minuti si è alla stazione, un giretto alle Cinque terre non guasta mai!

Buona soluzione per visitare Sanremo o per utilizzare l'hotel come tappa intermedia per viaggi in Provenza. Posizione centrale e tranquilla, prezzo onesto e conveniente. Atmosfera piuttosto impersonale in palazzo non modernissimo ma pulito e ordinato, ingresso gestito da remoto con codice pin, in comunicazione con proprietario pronto e disponibile. Camere troppo fredde d'inverno.

Durante un viaggio di lavoro ho dormito in questo bnb, la prima cosa da dire che mi viene in mente è : ottima accoglienza, bellissima casa e ben arredata. Molte scale ma valgono la bellezza, tra l’altro anche della terrazza. La prima sera purtroppo sono esplosi dei tubi per via del ghiaccio, il ripristino e la risoluzione del problema sono stati tempestivi, discreti e risolutivi. Il Ragazzo che gestisce la casa è adorabile e discreto. Grazie Claudio, complimenti! ogni volta che saremo a Ventimiglia torneremo da voi!
