많은 사람들이 좀 더 저렴한 숙박 시설을 위해 메스트레를 추천하지만, 산타루치아 옆에 위치한 호텔 플로리다는 단순히 기차에서 좌회전 2번, 도보 1분 거리에 있습니다. 아니면 배를 타고 짐을 찾으러 가세요~ 도보로 30분만 걸어가시면 호텔 아글리 아티스티에 도착하실 수 있어요~ 이날 접수원은 앤 해서웨이를 닮은 젊은 미인이었는데, 영어도 유창하고 따뜻하고 친절했어요. 체크인 경험도 훌륭했어요~ 클래식한 베네치아 럭셔리 스타일에 레트로한 예술적인 느낌이 물씬 풍기는 객실입니다. 세월의 흔적이 느껴지지만 매우 깨끗하고 깔끔하며, 침대는 이불로 되어 있지 않지만 난방은 충분하고 제작도 잘 되어있습니다. 이탈리아에서는 담요가 매우 편안합니다. 아침 뷔페가 여기 있습니다. 호텔 아글리 아티스트티(Hotel Agli Artisti)는 매우 풍부하고, 주문한 커피가 매우 맛있습니다. 체크아웃 후 쇼핑하고 싶다면 여기에 짐을 무료로 보관해 줍니다. 편리하다~ 위치가 매우 좋습니다. 치즈대교와 부두까지 도보로 단 1분 거리에 있으며 가장 가까운 슈퍼마켓은 20:30에 문을 닫고 30초 거리에 있어 가격 대비 성능이 매우 뛰어나 완벽한 숙박 경험입니다~

From booking to reception the welcome we received was second to none. The staff, organisation and accommodation are absolutely brilliant. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and would love to repeat it one day. I can’t thank them enough.

베니스의 섬 밖에서 생활하는 것은 상대적으로 비용 효율적입니다. 유스호스텔은 섬 밖의 기차역에서 도보로 약 12분 거리에 있으며 근처에 대형 슈퍼마켓과 공항 버스 정류장이 있습니다. 유스호스텔은 매우 활기가 넘칩니다. 예약하기 더블룸은 공간이 넓습니다. 단점은 엘리베이터가 2대밖에 없어서 피크타임에 타려면 10분 이상 기다려야 합니다. 여행 가방을 끌 필요가 없으므로 계단을 이용하는 것을 고려해 볼 수 있습니다.

When we arrived we realised that all the previous reviews were correct. The area is not safe at all and there are men hanging around on the corner of the hotel for hours on end. I know this isn’t the hotels fault, however, there’s no extra security in place and hotel reception staff aren’t 24/7. On the 3rd night, due to there not being aircon, we had to leave the window open (these windows open 2 different ways - like a normal window or a safety way where only the top opens towards the room). At 3.30am we were woken up to an intruder who was trying to break into our room through trying to open the window from the outside by using a metal screwdriver to open it. We had to shout, scream and push the door shut and as two ladies in a room we couldn’t get back to sleep. There was no phone in the room to contact reception, which wouldn’t have mattered anyway as there was no one around. It was horrible & when we tried to tell the lady at reception the next day, she didn’t do anything, just said she’d check the cameras like she didn’t believe us. We were in such a hurry to leave the hotel. We were in a room separate from the main hotel, down the road, which looked like old council flats. The room itself is very basic. Nothing in the mini fridge, our window was broken on the first day and we had to wait 30 minutes for a handy man to come and fix it. We only got one pillow and even though we asked for another one, we never got it. The beds were really hard and our bedding wasn’t changed, just made everyday. The shower was exceptionally small but it was powerful. you can hear every single thing that happens in the rooms next door. We were woken up by people showering in different rooms at 6am. The breakfast is very dissatisfying. There are two sittings - on our first day the breakfast lady refused us entry as our names hadn’t been put on the sheet where you have to say which sitting - an error by the reception staff as we had booked the night before. The breakfast itself had all ran out by the time we were able to sit down. 1 bit of cheese left and no fruit. Very basic so we decided to get breakfast out the next day. As there are no reception staff, we couldn’t check out before 8am, however we had to be at the airport for 8.30 so we went to reception to hand the key back in. The lady was very rude and told us we should’ve checked out last night? How would we have got into our room? she also was rude and told us that we should’ve booked our taxi the night before too (even though the previous staff who were very helpful said come to reception in the morning. We left feeling very unsafe and worried that we hadn’t been able to check out. We were hoping to speak to the manager but the woman just walked away. It’s such a shame as the younger staff were really helpful and friendly at the start. But it’s not safe - I wouldn’t feel safe on my own and I didn’t feel safe with two of us. It is close to the train station, but you don’t feel safe walking there
